The High Note Sky Bar is a full-service, lushly landscaped rooftop garden which was named as one of the Top 10 Best Rooftop Bars in the World by Condé Nast Traveller in 2018. The sky bar offers fine-drinking cocktails, an exciting bar food selection and an extensive wine list, all while granting a breathtaking view of Budapest and a front-row ticket to St. Stephen’s Basilica.

It is overhyped and overpriced. There are plenty of other cocktail bars with a view that aren’t as pretentious. Why is this place considered exclusive?

A beautiful outside table with a fabulous view of St Stephen’s Basilica on a stunningly sunny June afternoon. Service was attentive without being obtrusive and the prices were very reasonable considering the setting. Would definitely recommend and absolutely return. Thank you to all the team. X

Bit disappointed tbh. I specifically made mention at time of booking that my wife and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We were greeted with "happy anniversary" on our arrival.....and that was it. I wasn't expecting the world but a little token drink or effort would've been nice. The open air terrace was nice but we were shown to a table with low seats which seemed to defeat the object of a sky bar and being able to appreciate the view. We did manage to eventually change tables which made for a better experience. All in all Ive had better experiences for the money. I think there's too many bars of this kind that are happy to take your money without getting the basics right.

We regret not making the occasion more memorable and apologize for the lack of a special gesture at arrival! Regarding the seating, we always aim to provide the best views and experience. Well what can say... Booked months in advance. we arrived a little early.... to be welcomed, to get in the lift to be turned away and told to come back.... so we went back... everything was going smooth taken to the roof top, waiter spoke little english, but so what we made it work... we ordered, a couple of mishaps, no more than a couple, but so what we made it work.... Amazing views on the roof top, then the starters come... then well the rain come, not restaurant's fault, at the same time the mains come, attempted to serve them raining under no cover... turns out... no back up plan... moved to the lobby, yep the reception area, food come.... with nothing to eat it with... at that point the food was cold, the manager wanted an argument, blaming the rain... no no the rain is fine, the lack of back up plan... rain was forcast FYI... they failed, they had no organisation and basically screwed it up blaming the group... wont return... paid the bill, removed the service charge.. left with no apology.. id say go when its not raining... they fail to prepare and if that happens you prepare to fail.

It’s a great view. Bit showy. We booked a table under the covered terrace and they put us outside (seems there was a function on). Pop in for a drink to get the view but don’t bother eating is my recommendation !

On the day of your visit, a private event limited our available space, which made it challenging to accommodate all seating requests. We went for a drinks and booked about an hour before arriving. They had our table waiting and we were served promptly. Great views and a nice atmosphere.

The bar was empty and there were a choice of seating options. We asked to move to a higher table as we were originally seated on a low table. After we had ordered some drinks we proceeded to move and then were asked twice to move a different table even though there was about 4 people in the bar. Based on the attitude of the staff we wouldn’t return.
