The High Note Sky Bar is a full-service, lushly landscaped rooftop garden which was named as one of the Top 10 Best Rooftop Bars in the World by Condé Nast Traveller in 2018. The sky bar offers fine-drinking cocktails, an exciting bar food selection and an extensive wine list, all while granting a breathtaking view of Budapest and a front-row ticket to St. Stephen’s Basilica.

Expérience décevante. Malheureusement, notre expérience dans ce restaurant a été très décevante du début à la fin. Pour un établissement aussi cher et réputé, nous nous attendions à un service bien plus professionnel. L’accueil a été froid et peu aimable dès notre arrivée. Nous avons demandé à changer de table, mais notre demande a été refusée sans aucune justification. Le service a continué sur cette mauvaise lancée : le serveur ne savait visiblement pas ouvrir une bouteille de vin et en a renversé une partie. La seule chose positive reste la nourriture, qui était vraiment excellente. Mais même un bon repas ne peut compenser un service aussi médiocre, un manque total de professionnalisme et une ambiance aussi désagréable. Une grosse déception – nous n’y retournerons pas.

Great food and drinks but overpriced. Service was great! View of Budapest was not very good at all, mostly other buildings blocking the view.

I have been here several times and I always had a great time but this time I felt to write a review because the server girl offered an amazing service, she was kind and so loving for her job, with such a good vibe and kindness I was surprised, I felt like in my country (Italy) for the first time in 6 years in Hungary, unfortunately I don't remember her name, but that girl deserves a raise!

Dear Özlem, Thank you for your visit and your kind words about our venue. I was sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied with the service, which is usually rated among the top three by our guests. Your table was served by a supervisor, assisted by a server and runner, as we expected two separate reservations of five people each with terrace tables. However, upon arrival, it turned out that your group consisted of 10 people, and unfortunately, we do not have a single terrace table for 10. After reviewing video footage, I saw no lack of attention; our staff checked on the tables several times, although part of your group was away at those moments. The hostess could not be more rude. I made a reservation for my anniversary and she just let us in a table in the middle of the way, despite the fact that the Rooftop was empty and we arrived at 7pm. We kindly ask to change the place and she replied that we should wait until all the tables were complete. After a second try, with another waiter, she returned angry and gave us the same kind of table, at the same area, where we had to yell at each other in order to keep a conversation. We then asked for a burrata and waited almost 45 minutes for that. We had the starter and left to an italian restaurant, wich was way better. Do not recommend this place.

Although you saw some empty tables on the terrace, two were similar to yours, and the others were reserved for larger parties. Our hostess always escorts guests to their tables and offers the menu, as she did for you. Unfortunately, only two two-person tables were available at the time, the exclusive terrace and covered area. We always strive to offer the best seating, but we cannot meet every request. We apologize for the long wait for your burrata. That evening, a live music dinner and a large party created extra kitchen pressure, resulting in delays. Thank you again for your feedback. Our third visit during our stay at the Aria Hotel and it was amazing, thanks to all the staff at the High Note SkyBar for excellent service and hospitality.

The waiter wasn't very willing to help. Seems like he didn't wanted to be there. The other people were very polite. We didn't ate there. Just drinks. They have very special cocktails, but we couldn't find any cocktails what we dare to try.
