                                                                  Kindler is a hidden gem!!! Absolutely Amazing!!! From the staff to the food it was impeccable! To start our waiter Edwin was amazing the best waiter I have ever had. The food ... wow!!! We had the octopus appetizer and it was delicious!!! It was enjoyed so much that one in our party ordered it as a meal! The hanger steak was cooked to perfection and phenomenal! I will be heading back next time we are in Islamorada and I HIGHLY recommend going!!!

                                                                  Very apparent the restaurant is under staffed & still working out menu and service kinks. With all the $$$ spent for the renovation, care should have been taken to install sound/noise buffers. IT IS VERY LOUD. Ordered shrimp appetizer - it was burnt/unedible. Ordered NY strip, very tough and over cooked. Ordered asparagus side - asparagus was thinner than a pencil and mushy. Waitress was outstanding. She was spread thin over several tables 6? so she could not do her job to the best of her ability. It's very expensive and not worth the pricing. I would go for drinks or lunch - not dinner. They have a lot of work left to do in order to get things right and attempt to keep guests on property versus walking next door or across the street to Ziggy's or Chef Michael's or Cheeca Lodge. Good luck!

                                                                  Our table had grilled oysters, monkey bread for appetizer our dinners included hanger steak, Gnocchi which was delicious. Our server Edwin was fantastic and Steve the bartender was very good!!😋😋

                                                                  Scallops were good. Mahi mahi not. Service was very poor. Overall very disappointing. Go to Hog Heaven. Great service, better food and half the cost.

                                                                  The entree food was nicely prepared, although the fritter appetizer was nothing to write home about. The monkey bread, a $9 appetizer, was cold on the inside, despite the restaurant touting its wood-burning stove. Service was pleasant and attentive, although they seemed understaffed, and thus the manager turned down walk-ins, even though plenty of table were empty. Overall, the food was fine of resort dining, but not memorable.
