Perfect snow night out w friends!
Great place. Food an service is top notch!!!
Very Great place. Food an Staff are #1. I highly recommend.
All the food was delicious. Our server Mike was absolutely amazing, funny and attentive!
Great place! You can’t go wrong here with great atmosphere , quality food and fair prices. The service was awesome considering they were short staffed our waiter busted his hump. Please remember the workers when you tip they deserve extra
This was a great Thanksgiving experience! Everything came out fresh and the service was great. We especially enjoyed the normal menu items!
Sunday brunch was delicious! Great food, great service 👍
Absolutely horrible experience took almost an hour to get food for three adults and two kids the waiter only came over to her three times the entire time the food was either burnt or bland and when I try to talk to the hostess about my concerns she was rude
Seats at booth were very uncomfortable.
Great experience with friends. Superior service with heated outdoor dining. The staff could not have been more kind and the food was perfect. We will definitely be back!
Seating was comfortable, and private. The atmosphere was inviting as were the staff. I definitely recommend Hibernian to anyone. It felt very inclusive and friendly. The food was warming to the soul.
Excellent night out with my bride! Food was great and the service was impeccable!
Great spot, food, servic. takes reservations, Friday night availability!
The food was tasty and portions were large. The service was attentive and very responsive. All in all we had a delightful time. The ambience contributed to our enjoyment. Surprisingly, the narrow pub tables contributed to the evening by making conversation easy.
They had a very solid fish and chips. The service was bad. They forgot the appetizer, and our server disappeared for a long period of time. I had to go to the hostess stand and have them track the server down so we could pay. I would go back, but it was pretty underwhelming.
We did the Monday night $5 burger special. One of the best deals around (includes one side). Of course had a perfect pour Guinness with it. Being Monday night, not too crowed either and fairly quiet. Servers were attentive and helpful. One of my faves.
Totally awesome place for food an drinks. Recommend to all.
The shepherd’s pie was excellent! The fish and chips were very good also.
We were disappointed with the atmosphere and decor, as well as the noise we heard from the other room.
Wonderful dining experience and our waiter was simply amazing and delightful
Standard pub fare, always good service...nice small patio
The food was delicious!
One of our favorite places! Thanks for an easy way to reserve us a spot!
Food was amazing, service not so much. Never good when you have to find someone to bring you your check.
Myself and guest were seated all the way in the back when plenty of seats were available up front. It was super hot in the back and really couldn’t enjoy the food that was amazing by the way the corn beef cooked to perfection. Just felt like a black and white thing which made us feel uncomfortable. Food and service was great except sitting us in the way way hot back.
Glad to see Hibernian offers reservations…..a definite “plus” since several restaurants aren’t taking reservations. Lettuce wedge is awesome but then I like blue cheese crumbles and dressing. The fish sandwich is large enough for us to split when we have an appetizer. Good value and always a quiet place to have dinner. We’ll go back!
Always good food. The Irish breakfast is the best! Guinness on tap. What more could you want?
The staff is totally awesome!!!
Definitely going back with the wife.
Both our meals were very tasty! Food arrived promptly! Service was very good!
Decided to try the Hibernian patio for a casual date night. We have been to pubs before and we’re familiar with the vibe - a little loud, super casual, and relaxed. But the service was not great at all. Our server rushed us through our meal even though the restaurant wasn’t even half full. Our meal came only a few minutes after our appetizer. It took us only 35 minutes from beginning to end of the meal and we felt like we were being pushed out the door. My boyfriend asked twice for sweet tea and was given unsweetened both times. The food was good but I don’t think we will be back. There are too many restaurants in Raleigh to return back here again.
The food and service were fine. I look forward to returning.
My suggestion is to avoid outdoor seating unless you are both a smoker AND deaf, as the outdoor bar is just adjacent to Falls of Neuse which has apparently become a dragstrip for amplified exhaust vehicles.
The hostess was dressed in rags and had her feet on the counter of the hostess stand when we arrived.
Our server was friendly but it was just forever between visits; we had to resort to asking other servers to get our check, get it processed, and so on. When the appetizer arrived, we asked for plates in addition to the serving platter. When the server returned he reported that there weren't any clean, so he brought bowls. E for effort?
The food was okay, Irish Pub food without any particular panache. It should be viewed as a bar that has some food.
They were friendly, seated us right away.....Waitress was pleasant and did her job. Food was outstanding....will definitely dine there again
Nice neighborhood bar\restaurant, with good ambiance
Came here with friends on St. Patrick’s weekend because we knew the one downtown would be way too crowded. It was a good experience. We got there early and it was quieter, good for a family lunch outing. Stayed for awhile and it became more lively, but not overwhelming, the later we stayed. Service was great and very accommodating.
We have been coming to Hibernian for years - it's our favorite casual place. Unfortunately the Pandemic put an end tumor weekly visits, but now restrictions are lifted we will resume our weekly visit.
All the food is good and very fairly prices, but my favorite is the crispy fish sandwich. I never get tired of, and the french fries are my favorite anywhere.
For a nice night out with special friends, this cannot be beat.
The food was really good, but the service was not so great. This is the second time we have gone there to eat within a few weeks and both times the service was greatly lacking. After waiting over 15 minutes for our waitress to check on us, we wanted more drinks, I had to go find the hostess to get her. Several of our iced beverages were put into warm mugs/glasses which of course caused the drinks to be very watered down. The last time we were there they had a very hard time getting our orders correct. We will not be going back to that Hibernian for a long while.
Always love going to Hibernian great good great staff!
We love HB but won’t go back anytime soon. We felt there were WAY too many people there and they were too close for comfort for us. The food was good. Fish and chips is my favorite but fries were not hot. Sorry, guys, but we’ll have to go elsewhere in hopes the environment feels safer.
Just love Hibernian. Another great meal with fabulous portions. Daughter got the black bean burger for the first time and fell in love. Fish and chips were stellar as always.
Our family enjoyed Hibernian for our Christmas Eve luncheon and we had a WONDERFUL time! The teams commitment to meet the details of our reservation exceeded our expectations - we are a customer for life! Thank you very much!
