   Had the catfish and low country boil. Both were great. Cold beer too.

   My girlfriend and I stopped here for dinner. Other places in the area were closed, but this one did catch out eye before we even found out others were closed. This is a nice little spot, the staff is nice, and the food was certainly delicious. We had oysters and alligator bites to start and they were really good. The bites were well seasoned and came with a sauce. I ordered the soft shell crab and it came as a pasta with a crab, but it was a star dish. I would eat it again for sure! Tab can add up but certainly worth checking out.

   The limited menu was awful and too short. It was crowded and seating was too closed in. Too LOUD for us and we like normal amounts of noise in restaurants. The wings were good but did not make up for the rest. We won't go back.

   Loved our table as we could see and people watch, plus we were on a bench so we could sit next to each other. Problem was every time the door opened and stayed open all the cold air drifted towards us. Was surprised with all of the access to fresh fish from the local lakes and the trout in Andrews that there was very little local on the menu. Figured seasonal menu changes meant there would be local offerings Brussels sprouts were outstanding. Really enjoyed the take on a fried bRussell sprouts. And the sauce for dipping was a perfect compliment. A little bit of sweet with some acid. We wanted to lick the plate clean. Disappointed by the conch fritters. They were very bready. Excited to try a non-creamy dipping sauce to go with them. It was lacking in flavor. So double disappointment. Have had these in both Key West and in the Bahamas. These weren’t even close. We shared an entrée because it was so huge. Snapper with crawfish étouffée on top of goat cheese grits. Very tasty. A bit heavy on the spicy and I love spicy! Harder to taste the grits. Arugula on top was nice touch as it soothed. The creativity of this dish was fantastic. Love the way the flavors came together just a little less space would’ve made it easier to taste all of the flavors. It would be interesting to play with the fishy used, to something local. Dessert- chocolate mousse cake. Huge. Not overly sweet which was a plus! Lacking in flavor - and the cake was not as moist as it could’ve been. I’m going to plunge in on the calories, I want to love it. This was a “eh, it’s OK“. Server very attentive & gave us the space to be on our date. She kept our drinks filled and made sure to check after everything was delivered. Couldn’t ask for anything more than that. Plus she had a beautiful smile and smiled us the whole time.

   Restaurant was CLOSED and we received no notification that it was not open on New Year’s Eve, so we could make other arrangements. Hard to find a place to eat on a holiday without a reservation at 7:00 pm.

   Family stopped in before seeing holiday lights at the Fairgrounds. It was our first time visiting and we really enjoyed it. Food was terrific - catfish and crab cakes were the better dishes on our table. Service was responsive, and we enjoyed the overall experience.

   If I lived locally, it would be a good place to go for occasional casual nights out when I didn't want to cook, but it was not all that and a bag of chips. The food was adequate, the service was adequate, the price was fair for what you got. It is not a place I would choose to go again on a vacation where I am looking for special.
