   Dining at the Hest Bank is always special. It's a lovely location, the ambience is just right and the food is freshly cooked and delicious. Friendly helpful staff complete the experience

   Food was great the wait for over half a hour for our dessert was not great considering the place was empty

   I love dining at The Hest Bank. The staff are local and friendly. The pub is a 'proper' pub not some place with a 'corporate identity'. I've never had a bad meal there and I have had some fabulous meals over the years I've been going there. It's a solid step above a standard pub meal with a regularly changing menu that nevertheless keeps the popular favourites. We had traditional Sunday lunches this time and they were great. I take my international visitors there and they all love the traditional English pub feel. Please don't ever change the character of the pub! TBH, I could live without the OpenTable malarky, but I guess we all have to move with the times and I'm happy to be able to leave a glowing review and thanks for another great meal. See you again soon.

   Amazing roast beef dinner followed by sticky toffee pudding. It was very busy but the staff were brilliant and attentive.
