Attentive wait staff and excellent food and drinks.
Great setting. Fantastic staff.
Our waitress Jessica made our experience amazing, in addition to the delicious food and the wonderful atmosphere.
The food was just mediocre and not worth what we paid. The server was very kind but bar and kitchen were very slow. Very. We were there for an hour and a half, had one drink an app and dinner.
Love the food, food is main heart of all restaurants. And i will be back again!
Birthday brunch with my family and was given great service. The food was also amazing
Have been here several times but this time the deep fried whole fish was a disappointment, too dry and overcooked. The other dishes were ok but not as memorable as our previous visits.
Excellent rez via Open Table. Hostess - very professional -seated right away. Servers and managers -were on point. Lots of water and coffee refills- food -excellent! Eggs benny, mochi pancakes, and egg whites sram-made to order. Fantastic!! Whats even more fantastic NFL Wildcard Playoffs on the big screen at the same time! Good call!! Excellent experience.
Loved the ambiance! Food was delicious. Our waiter, Richard, was awesome! Great place!
Great service, beautiful restaurant and amazing food
The food flavours were very good, however the majority of the items came out cold. We ordered the Tomahawk Steak, local fresh catch, Hokkaido Scallops, Miso Mushroom Pasta, and various other dishes.
I complained to the server that the food was cold and she looked at me and replied back" yes, your not the first table to complain about that, do you want to order more food?" I replied no and she walked away.
I was baffled by her response and the lack of any remedy to all the main course dishes being cold.
She was somewhat oblivious on how to handle the situation.
We continued to dine on the cold meal and in hindsight I should have asked for a manager.
Again, the flavours were very good but the meal was cold.
Overall experience was good and initially everything seemed perfect and they seemed to be well staffed for the new years eve festivities, which is when me and my family was there. However after a while things started to take longer time then normal. We probably waited for our main for about an hour. Despite some small hick-ups here and there, such as initially giving us a really bad table despite having booked well in advance, bringing us champagne instead of wine, I would say that our waitor was doing a great job. He was very professional and made us forget about most of our problems. Having said that the food was very good but not exceptional. When you pay that much money I would say that you would expect a little bit more from a high end restaurant. The Venue however was amazing.
Went to Herringbone for New Year's Eve dinner. The dinner was a Prix Fixe menu with choices within each course. The ahi tataki with the fresh wasabi was outstanding. The buffalo octopus was an innovative approach to serving tako with substantial legs and spicy buffalo sauce. The surf and turf was excellent, especially the lobster. I ordered the wine pairing and the choices did a very good job of complementing each course dish. The service was excellent with our waitress very attentive without being intrusive. Ambience in this restaurant depends on where you are seated. That was one aspect that could be improved. All in all, a very good and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended.
Love this place! Super awesome service, food is good. I prefer to not have ice cold crab though.. it was like it brought out of the freezer. But everything’s good. The price is kinda crazy. But what else do you expect in Waikiki. Lol I’d recommend this place and go back though :)
Second time here, this time for dinner. Our group of 4 ordered pretty much all the appetizers and shared for dinner. The buffalo octopus, yellowfin, Brussels sprouts, the fries, were all amazing. So amazing, that we ordered a second octopus. The creme brûlée for desert was also perfect. This is a ‘must go’ if you are in Honolulu.
Extremely slow and unprofessional service.
Food was ok, but not worth the wait.
Would not recommend
The server was nice and helpful but menu doesn’t have much choices
Food (all of us 4 people) didn’t taste so good. Little disappointed.
My wife and I had a wonderful time. We love to come to this restaurant.
A bey good place to get together and celebrate in Honolulu.
Was here for a Christmas eve dinner with my wife. Ambience and
Excellent food and service. We love this place.
Ordered the fresh catch. Blue Marlin was overcooked
Amazing waiter and food!
The wine list is terribly overpriced. I realize that’s how restaurants make their money, but in this instance it’s nothing short of price gouging. I believe the cheapest bottle of wine was over $50.
Service was fantastic, food was decent; best thing were the oysters. Definitely a bit overpriced for the quality of food you receive but overall it wasn’t the worst place we’ve been too. Would definitely come back for oysters and drinks.
Wonderful server, but restaurant was loud and hard to get service. Great food
Super loud restaurant. People screaming at the table next to us. Food was horrible. Service was mediocre. Overall not what I expected. Very disappointed- would not recommend
Such a charming place. The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous. The appetizers were really tasty and presented really nicely. The main courses were surprisingly bland. That was such a disappointment. I had high hopes and in the end was let down.
Expensive and not good - the worst combination. I’ll never go back for dinner again, only Happy Hour is worthwhile.
Highly recommend - they went above and beyond to make our birthday experience a wonderful one. Big thank you to Joseph our waiter!
We came here for two birthdays in a party of 6 people. We all unanimously loved our experience at Herringbone—from the easy parking, the unique and attractive ambience, the bestest of service and the amazing food. EVERYTHING tasted great. We all give it the highest rating, and we will definitely be back!
Fantastic service; tried as many happy hour food and drink items as we could, and they were all good...Octopus was the best
Always have a great experience, especially with bottomless mimosas. Our waiter, Richard, was great and very patient with us.
I had a great time on my birthday. Best brunch on the island! Both the service and food were absolutely incredible. The outside patio was beautiful and the perfect setting. It was also comfortable for my 1 year old, and she loved her keiki macaroni and cheese. We will be back for sure!
