   Went to Heritage for an anniversary dinner. The building outside is brick, well-kept, looks small and is in town on Main Street. There’s street parking and on busier nights, no worries— there’s a lot right across the street and even municipal parking further down Main on the same side if needed. It was a Friday night, but we found a spot easily. When we walked in, the foyer was clean and the host found our reservation within a minute and walked us to a table, poured us glasses of water and let us know our server would be right with us. Within another minute or two, the server came up and introduced himself asking if we needed a moment or had any questions, and went over the specials. We settled on an appetizer (baked Brie, with dried cherries and fig, and warm pita triangles) and a couple glasses of California Chardonnay. Both were great, the Brie was simple but delicious. The Chardonnay was a great complement. Prices are fair. My husband ordered the lamb lollipops for dinner with a house salad. I tried a bite. Exceedingly good. Cooked perfectly and tender. Seasoned just enough to let the flavor sing. Salad was crisp and fresh. Dressing served on the side so you can eat it how you like. The broccoli he subbed for asparagus was steamed bright green but was soft with just enough bite. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which I never order since it’s usually an incredibly safe and bland menu choice. Not here— it was a full meal (or two!) with seasoned cooked chicken, the typical greens (again— fresh, no brown or reddened lettuce here, and no bagged iceberg mess) and shaved pecorino Romano. They also added colorful mandarin sections and sliced strawberries, cherry tomatoes, onion, and a great homemade dressing on the side. It was fantastic and not even being a dedicated salad eater, I’d get it again and again. Unfortunately, or fortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert. The table next to us did and it smelled divine. Next time! TL; DR: go here!

   We have been a few times. Excellent menu choices, great service, killer brunch, great food and service. My only issue is they need to fill up the wine glasses just a little. Very small pours😃

   This was our second time at this restaurant and it had been the best so far. The food was outstanding and perfect. The staff was attentive and the food quality was amazing. Hardly any wait time but we were the only ones there in the dining area. There was a few guests in the bar section but the noise level was not disturbing and we could have a nice and quiet date night. Will be returning again. Highly recommended place.

   Our favorite restaurant in Waynesboro. Never disappoints! Chris is a great server, even if he does goes a bit overboard with his “game show host” voice.

   Please don’t ever remove the roasted Brussels sprouts from the menu. They were superb along with the most extraordinary Reuben and salmon sandwiches on rye. Q was most attentive to our needs as we were 2 GF’s celebrating our birthdays. We also loved the new dessert of the key lime tart.

   Last minute change to prix fixe and limited menu wasn’t cool but all the food was delicious and quality! Main dining room would have been preferred as opposed to high table by the bar but that did afford a more quiet setting. Timing of each course could have been better but the team adjusted well. Franklin was an outstanding server!

   This restaurant is a gem in Waynesboro! The ambiance is really nice, the service was great and the food was fantastic. Pleasantly surprised and will definitely return if we're up in the mountains again.

    The food is great the service is horrible! We had our salads before our drinks, our entres came out about 5 min after our appetizers, the staff appeared to socialize more than work. The food is great, gonna stick to door dashing them and tip the driver instead

    We held our staff Christmas dinner on Sunday 12-11-2022 here. The food was amazing and the staff super friendly. We fed 9 guest a full meal including appetizers and yummy dessert and still got out under $350.00 after tip. VALUE!!!! Bang for the buck and it is elegant.

    I had the strawberry pecan salad and it was delicious! My husband and brother had the burger and said it was great! My sister in law had the ravioli with a lobster tail that looked excellent. The waitress was great and the value for the food was reasonable. A gorgeous place. We have had lunch there before and loved it. We plan to try brunch.

    Consistently good service and food. Love the atmosphere. We treated our adult children to a celebratory meal while watching the Holiday Parade outside the window from our seats. Our adult son is in a wheelchair and Heritage is very accessible. Great local hang out for a drink and appetizer at the bar to watch sports but quiet dining room experience available as well. Fantastic cocktails!

    Two in our party ordered baked potatoes with their meals and they automatically came with bacon and cheese. Generally doesn't a waiter/waitress ask what you want on a baked potato? Lobster tail was very tough. Waitress very informative and very pleasant and attentive!

    We loved this place. The drink selection was very nice and the appetizer we shared was delicious. Having a main course salad was just what we wanted because dessert was also yummy! Great value for everything!

    Heritage on Main has the potential to be an excellent dining choice. The menu is interesting and creative. The preparation of most dishes is excellent. A weak spot in their risotto but the Oysters Rockefeller were outstanding I think they could make that dish more profitable for themselves if they served 4 oysters for $10 instead of 9 oysters for $18. Oysters are not a universal favorite so sharing is less likely than on other appetizers. The preparation is delicious and very rich so serving 9 is definitely too many for most appetites. This was our second visit. The one thing that makes us hesitate to go back is the unpleasant greeting each time we have gone. We are never made to feel welcome. We do reserve in advance. I thought that the first time was just a fluke but this time was even worse. Due to a spinal injury, I cannot sit at high tops. We asked for a regular table and were told that we could be seated in the corner as long as we were out in one hour. We came for a nice meal and we do not just eat nachos and hamburger. So we will think long and hard again about returning.

    We went to Herritage for a birth/anniversary/retirement celebration. We used to go there frequently but just haven't been out as much lately. Props to Heritage ownership for the remodeling and surviving Covid. All of our meals were delicious, well portioned, and very reasonably priced. Franklin provided great service. The menu has excellent variety, especially for Wboro. It's now out first choice for dining in Wboro/Staunton area.

    Good experience, nothing special. Prices were fair. Service took a very long time. Every now and again you come along a place that’s food is tasteless. This was one of those places. We tried 3 different wing flavors and couldn’t honestly differentiate one from another. The lamb burger was one desensitized experience. The meatballs had the best, meaty flavor.

    The first time I dined at Heritage, it was a last minute decision. It was amazing. I bring a group of women there twice a year and it’s now my go-to for our final dinner. They take such great care of us, food is amazing and staff are incredibly friendly.

    Got an upgrade of bourbon in 2 old fashioneds and the bill was 40$ with no food at the bar. — sat down for dinner at our table and looked at the drink menu and saw an old fashioned with the same bourbon we ordered for $10 a drink — very slow service and tuna skewer appetizer was incredibly small for the price charged

    We got there about 15 mins early since we had a decent size party. We were told that we could not be seated on time due to people walking in and taking the table they had set for us (as in they walked through the door and did not see the host just sat). This group also did not have a reservation. That is absolutely not acceptable to me. The girl up front was trying to find a space for us quickly and was working on that. When she ask the waiter he very rudely said well there is 7 people we can’t expect them to sit at a 6 top (speaking about the party that walked in). Some simple math would quickly tell me as a waiter-he is about to lose tips/profit. The young lady that helped us was super nice and even stayed to be our waiter. She kept drinks filled and food out on time. After we were seated the experience improved.

    Lovely dinner with my husband. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. Everything was delicious! Menu is on trend with popular choices and everything was well prepared. Service was very professional. Prices were just right however probably slightly under market. Great job!!
