This place is great. Great service, great food and great ambience. The whole family enjoyed our meal. We have been to a lot of great restaurants and this was up there. I wish we lived locally because we would come more often. My six-year-old ate cauliflower mashed potatoes. Enough said. Our server (from Georgia, wish I remembered her name) was a kind human. With the world falling apart, I hope that this place continues to do well. It deserves it.

Cocktails were very good. Menu was varied and had lots of healthy options. I would eat here again.

Heritage had an amazing atmosphere and great food and service. Very creative and delicious Mashed Cauliflower with Roasted Brocolli. Crab cakes were a great portion which I thought provided great value. We had a large party and they were able to seat us immediately with a nice large table for everyone. We had such a great time.

Enjoyed a relaxing meal. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Meal good value. Ribeye, lamb chops. buffalo dip is excellent. Caprese green tomato, salad fresh.

Great inventive food and great service. This is a great restaurant in Waynesboro.

Pete is the only reason i gave 3 stars. He is amazing and the only one who seemed to care that I was from out of town. Took 1.5 hours to get a basket of fries.. I ordered that immediately because my kids were starving. I understand you all were down on staff due to COVID. but no even even asked to compensate me. When we finally got our meals.. I didnt even get my drink til way after which i ordered when i ordered my meal. And my poor daughter didnt even get her meal.. it finally came out after my other daughter and i finished ours and it was in a togo box. and i still tipped 18% .

Loved it had a great night watching Jerry, Scott & Sean. It was worth the hour dtive from mt. Jackson va.

The food was good - I recommend asking your server the length of time it takes for your particular meal to be prepared. My burger took 25 minutes.

We had a wonderful ladies lunch at The Heritage on Main. The service was excellent, and our meal Delicious! When our beer of choice was unavailable. The bartender arrived at our table with a “tasting” of several craft options. This was creative and thoughtful. We enjoyed her choices, and discovered some new favorites. The Shrimp and Andouille sausage was beautifully prepared and SO GOOD! The Chicken and Waffles were perfect, with both sausage and syrup on the side. We were so impressed with everything about the Heritage, that we are already planning a return visit with our husbands.

This restaurant is perfect for special occasions - the ambiance, the food, the service ... nice, savoury and pleasant.
The loungey atmosphere combines big city sophistication with small town historic charm to perfection. A welcome eatery in downtown Waynesboro.

This is a very nice restaurant and one of the better places to dine in this area. Good food, service, nice wait staff and would recommend. We will definitely dine here again.

Great place in Waynesboro!

Our waiter was wonderful! Matt was so accommodating and made a birthday dinner very special! We chose to order the special which was surf and turf. The steak was very flavorful and cooked to perfection! The grilled shrimp was very tasty too! Matt brought cheesecake with a candle with cream and sliced strawberries on the side, it was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner! I highly recommend Heritage on Main - the atmosphere is great and the service is top-notch!

Super disappointed. Had a reservation through Open Table, but got to the restaurant only to find a sign on the door that they were closed due to preparation for an event later in the day.

My wife and I tried Heritage while traveling down the blue ridge parkway. It was a Saturday evening. We both had the pork tenderloin with risotto and cocktails. Service and cocktails were good. The food was lacking. It took and hour to receive our meal even though the restaurant had only a few patrons. The pork tenderloin turned out to be a tough couple of pork chops. Polenta was substituted for the risotto, but was very good. Overall the restaurant has potential, but the kitchen needs to be faster.

We had a great time at Heritage on Main Street. We were travelers, coming to the area for a wedding. We found Heritage on Main Street via Open Table, and what a find! Our waiter Matthew was awesome and extremely helpful, and the food was terrific! Highly recommend the chorizo/shrimp burger! We sat next to some locals who were able to tell us about the area and even some activities that were happening while we were in town. Would definitely go back.

The service was not good. My waitress was very rude and it took forever to get her attention to get something and then when we finally did get her attention, she was not back in a reasonable time. It took 20min just to get napkins. Also the food was nasty. It was just a bad experience with both things combined.

Friendly and attentive server. I was very disappointed, however, that there was Worcester sauce drizzled all over the steak, broccoli and potatoes. I don't like that sauce. Better to just season the steak well. This should have been on the menu. I've ordered many steaks in my life and never once has one come with the sauce on it.

Our food was delicious and I can't wait to go back and try more options! However, the service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes until our server came to take our drink order, and she was very clearly new and struggling to do her job without guidance. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive at our table. The restaurant was never even full, so I wouldn't say they were overly busy. I will say the food was AMAZING. I'm going to give it another try and am going to chock my first experience up to poor management and being short staffed that evening. We still left our server a wonderful tip because she was kind and doing her very best in a difficult situation!

Loved it. 6 homeruns, pork fries, cheese tray, burger, hangar steak, flounder, pasta with peas. Plus great chocolate dessert and great beer selection

Nice restaurant. Will visit again. Sunday pace for service but we weren’t in a hurry. Wait staff excellent.

The food is excellent, but the wait between courses was long. Our appetizer plates had not been washed, all but one of us had older, out of date menus. The TVs were all on for the UVA/Auburn game with the volume set on stun.

Very slow and live music while it was entertains made it hard to talk to our dinner party

Food was delicious, service was great, ambiance was good. Very low-carb accommodating. The lights above the tables by the front windows were a little too bright — my only complaint.
