From the OpenTable editors: This MICHELIN-Starred tasting menu gets special status for sourcing ingredients from Heritage's own farm down the street. The seasonal, multi-course menu includes fruits and vegetables that sibling owners Phillip and Lauren Pretty get from the farm twice weekly. Plus, meat and seafood comes locally from California, including fish from Long Beach’s own waters. You’ll see it all in showstopping dishes like dungeness crab toast with avocado crema and sous vide beets.

From sourcing local, seasonal ingredients to minimizing food waste and reducing our environmental footprint, were proud to continue the sustainable dining legacy across our restaurants by incorporating green certified and green Michelin star practices into our operations.

    Heritage is family owned and operated by Chef Philip Pretty and sister Lauren Pretty. Our lively indoor dining room was built in 1922 as a craftsman house. Walk inside to an open kitchen, request bar seating to watch us cook over a live fire Santa Maria grill. Located in the Rose Park neighborhood of Long Beach on the corner of 7th & Saint Louis Ave. Heritage Restaurant uses sustainable meat & seafood, and Farmer's Market produce. Growing our own produce at Heritage Farm right up the street. Certified blue, green, and maintain a zero-waste kitchen. One red and green star Michelin awarded. We serve a tasting menu only. We politely decline modifications. Please specify all dietary restrictions/allergies when booking your reservation. Our menu is seasonal, and subject to daily changes.     Join Heritage Restaurant on Thursday August the 14th as it celebrates five years in the Long Beach dining scene.. This milestone reflects the dedication of the team, the fresh ingredients from Heritage Farm , local surrounding markets and farmers , and the support of valued guests. Over the past five years, the restaurant has focused on creating a memorable dining experience. This includes the indoor dining room in a converted Craftsman house, the open kitchen, and chefs cooking over a live fire Santa Maria grill. The restaurant is proud of its commitment to sustainability and zero-waste practices, To mark this special occasion, Heritage Restaurant is offering a limited-time six-course tasting menu of $195 per person with special collaborations featuring Chef Brad Mathews of Bar Le Côte Chef Steve Samson of Rossoblu Chef Chuy Cervantes of Damian Jesse Hellen-LLoyd of Hey Brother Baker Chef Max Boonthanakit of Camphor The experience begins promptly at 6pm with a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate this milestone. An optional wine pairing will also be available, curated to perfectly complement each course and enhance the dining experience. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to book their reservations on OpenTable .

                          Amazing food and wine pairing! Visited for my birthday and this was perfect for a special night out. We felt comfortable and cared for throughout the dining experience. This is exactly what we were looking for from a tasting menu, light yet complex flavors. The wine pairing was on point. Well thought out. We appreciated the thoughtful use of wines from California. I can’t say enough about this place. We will definitely be back!

                          Food and service were excellent. Wine pairing contained interesting wines that went well with the food. Parking was tough, we got there early and found street parking. The room has low ceilings so it can get noisy.
