We frequent Henrys and are always satisfied. We ordered the fresh catch, which was the special. The fish ..halibut...was delicious, but the veggies were soggy. We're going again tonight, so hopefully we'll like what we get. The server should have given us a heads up on the special. It was $52 each. Most expensive thing on the menu by far.

Food average. Soup too sweet, prime rib tough, tasteless. Salty steak. Salad ok. This was our 2nd trip to Henry's . Seems like food quality and service declined significantly since our last visit.

Always fantastic food. The short ribs were meltingly tender. Love the tempura vegetables! Delicious bread! The service is very good. Just two things marred our experience. One, it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant. And two, it took more than two hours for dinner, which was way too long. Especially since we were so cold. However, the food was faultless. Love that Bombay dessert! Would love to see you drop one of the Mac and Cheese sides and instead do a potato gratin. And a more inventive soup than clam chowder. This is our go-to special occasion dinner place.

First time eating here. Celebrating Mothers Day with our children. This is a steak house so felt safe to order steak. Daughter ordered medium cooked sirloin steak and came well done. Husband ordered medium flat iron steak and came medium rare. Son ordered hamburger and so did I. The hamburgers were tasty and juicy must better than the steak. I sampled them to make sure. They did recook our daughters steak and she had them bag it up due to everyone being done with their meal. We had to share ours with her so she could have a dinner. We would try them again to give them another chance.

The server in the front on 5/6 was rude. She would not seat us even if there were hardly anybody inside. We came about 25 minutes early and the table we needed up getting seated at was visibly empty when I checked in. Still, I was told to come back at our scheduled time. Total power trip!

Made a reservation got right in and seated at great booth. Ordered cocktails. The Kettle One martini was watered down by a large round ice cube in the glass with no olives as ordered. Sent back for just vodka in the glass. My Manhattan came with odd flower and toothpicks. Very odd taste. Both cocktails were very small portions not befitting a $200 ticket for only two souls. Tried to order some red wine. Taste samples were subpar wines. Our waiter albeit new and untrained tried his best. Your wine list is not up to standard. You need to have a knowledgeable wine person put together a first rate wine list befitting the great prime rib dinner we enjoyed. Thank you for that. The salads were small and uninspired. Recommendations: Train your staff properly to the level of quality Henry’s touts. From the bartenders and servers. Visit the House Of Prime Rib on Van Ness, SF and take note of the Martinis served, simply the best presentation, volume and delivery. A good bartender can be a revenue generator. Yours did not deserve a reorder. By the way, there was a lady server there that night that did an outstanding job. She could be elevated to supervise training and oversight of not only your wait staff but the bar as well. Don’t know her name. She had her hair up on an attractive bun, moved around her tables like a ballerina and did a fantastic job on both ends of dining experience for your customers that evening. The restaurant and service staff were great. The food was sub par. When you go to a Steak House at a casino you shouldn’t have to gamble if the foods going to be good. My wife and I had a bottle of wine, calamari, Caesar salad, filet Mignon and the Rib-eye. We wanted to have a good night. It was just basic, nothing stood out as even good, Not one item. We don’t mind dropping $300 on dinner. Shoot raise the price but please get a chef. The entire meal seemed like stuff you could make at home. Felt like they took from the buffet line across the lobby. Just charged us extra for it. I don’t usually complain or write reviews but someone should say something. The salad was exactly like a pre-made Cesar you’d find at Safeway/Raley’s. Calamari was meaty and nice but just with a canned sauce/aoli. All the sides with main course were basic with no love. My wife’s spinach that surrounded the filet-Mignon was slop with no flavor. I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you want to eat at this Casino try the buffet, burger joint, or Asian food next door.

The only reason that they even got 1 star is because of the bus staff. They were terrific and helped us most of the time. Terrible service. Our waiter was rude and non attentive. Filet Mignon's were over cooked and were the size of a hamburger patty from a small hamburger at McDonalds. We had to ask for things from our waiter over and over again. Spent over $300 on a $40 dinner. We will never go back.

The value and quality isn’t there anymore. My husband orders a filet and it was a thin probably 2.5 oz after being cooked. The drinks where ridiculous and didn’t enough seem like there was alcohol in it. Very expensive, the meal wasn’t worth the price!!

A Wonderful, an incredible dining experience. Our meals were so delicious and moist. The dessert with the fennel ice-cream, cashews, caramel, etc is a STAR. We can’t wait to come back.

My short ribs were good but the sauce I did not like it over my potatoes and stuff I should’ve took my $35 for my short ribs and went to the Buffay and had lobster and crab anyway my wife she enjoyed her meal.

We celebrated our Anniversary at Henry’s & it was wonderful experience. This is a hidden gem inside the Red Hawk Casino which deserves a visit even if you are not interested in the casino. Tucked away on the lower level the richly appointed dining room will draw you in. The warm colors, dark wood & leather booths give it a clubby feel while the open kitchen keeps it contemporary. We began with cocktails & delicious warm bread while we shared a wedge salad. This salad was artfully presented & topped with what tasted more like sweet smoky bacon nuggets than “bits.” My husband ordered the short rib. Braised in red wine with a red wine reduction, it was incredibly tender & robust. I had the prime rib, also tender & prepared to my liking. Our server, Jake was professional and attentive without being intrusive. His recommendations were spot on. I love that at Henry’s your server brings your entrees out on cart and they don’t use the food expediter model. Your waiter is your waiter from beginning to end. The wine list is more than adequate & includes excellent suggestions at all price points. Give Henry’s a try & you won’t be disappointed.

I have lived in Shingle Springs now for 34 years and had never gone to Henry’s since they opened Red Hawk. Just always thought it was super expensive! I finally looked at the menu online and was surprised to see that it was pretty in range with some other nice restaurants around! So in Valentines we went for dinner. It was great! So then we just went again and it was super good again! Great ribeye and sides! The bread too!!! We will be back again!👍

The three of us enjoyed our dinner from our arrival to the departure. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the ambience was perfect. We had drinks, dinner and dessert and we felt the food was outstanding.

The food was delicious. I highly recommend the sirloin w/ mushrooms and a baked potato! I think the server could’ve been more attentive as we had to ask her for bread twice and she wouldn’t split our $400 check. Water wasn’t refreshed more than once but we definitely enjoyed the wine we chose, a yummy Barbera that was well priced. We’ll be back because of the food and hopefully the service will be better next time.

Second time eating here. First time was great. This time my sirloin steak was not tender and was very chewy/grossly so I sent it back as I knew I wouldn’t eat it. Second steak I ordered as medium & it was definitely rare. So it was sent back again. Third time was good but I ate it after my husband finished his meal. The manager asked how our meal was and I said just waiting to eat it still. She said she’d discount it for inconvenience which I appreciated. We got our check & she had discounted our bill a whole $8.00!!! Not so happy with this visit after raving about the first visit:(
