   I used to love he drink but this time the experience was quite different/ I put in my reservation that it was for a special occasion but nobody asked and the service was ok / to be honest I expected more

   Server Taylor was great. Very nice and attentive. Food was just below average. Brisket was tough and sides average. Others in our party had the baby back ribs. They were the largest baby backs that we have ever seen, they were also very dry. They’re other BBQ places that are far better in the area. We ate on the deck and that was pleasant. I hope this helps someone looking for a good meal, unfortunately this was not the place for us.

   This was our first time there. The food was very good. Our server was excellent, knowledgeable and helpful…and fun! We come to St. Charles once a year. We’ll definitely try to get back!

   The food was very good! Portion sizes were adequate. Little on the pricey side depending on what you order. Overall we would definitely eat there again and will recommend to friends when in the St. Charles area.

   Went to Hendrick’s last night for dinner and was beyond disappointed. Took close to a hour to get our food. Waitress hardly checked on us. By the time we got the food, brisket looked more like a tough piece of prime rib than brisket. Not very tender and way too fatty. Turkey and pulled pork were bland. Sides were lightly seasoned and just ok. Will not be back

   there is a tarp on the glass roof to cover a leak, more light bulbs are burnt out than are on, dust everywhere and the food was actually gross. a far far cry from what used to be the best bbq in st. charles. for 107, for four people, they level of disappointment can not be adequately communicated on here. do not recommend and personally will never go back. sad that it’s fallen so far.

   The meat was a bit cold, but we do understand with fresh BBQ, coming earlier is usually better. The original BBQ sauce was a bit hotter than expected. It was OK.

    The meat was extremely fatty. The tortilla chips we really stale. The fried pickles were gross…..no flavo and huge clips of flour. Do not recommend

    This place used to be so good; however, it has gone straight downhill. We paid $60.00 for dinner for two people that was inedible. The brisket was beyond awful (fatty and cut with the grain, so very tough). The bread basket was terrible (ice cold and completely dried out). Our waitress was sweet, but we will NOT be back.

    Wasn't very encouraged when asking the young host as he seated us what he suggested or for what the place was best known, and he replied, "I don't know. I never eat here." Our server was attentive and engaging but had poor knowledge of the menu. The food was good; I'd go back, while blaming leadership for these mentioned shortcomings for poor staff training. Did see a lot of staffers sitting around, sort of like 20 percent of the staff doing 80 percent of the work. Now I know why it was the only place in St. Charles Old Town I could get a reservation on a Friday night at prime dinner time.

    The foodnwas great and our server Britany was fantastic. From the time we sat down she got on our drink order. She brought me a beer menu we thought that was great. She got our order for drinks right away. Came back and took our dinner order. Food was great! It was our first time eating here. I highly recommend them and would love to go back soon again.

    We have eaten here many times prior to our visit last night. It was extremely disappointing. We will not return. If there had only been one issue or maybe even two it would be excusable but that was not the case. We were a party of four and had reservations. We were seated fairly quickly but were not waited on for approximately 20 minutes! When she arrived we said we would like to order drinks and our meal immediately as we had concert tickets at 7:00. After another 10-15 minutes my husband received his beer in a bottle with no glass which he had asked for, but she did not bring the other three drinks. I said could I please get my water and she said oh yes ok. We waited an additional 15-20 minutes and our food was brought by another server but we did not have our drinks. When I asked the server that brought our food if we could get our drinks she said I’m not your server!! The majority of the food was barely warm and my brisket was half fat. After another 10 minutes our server came by and said is everything ok? We said we would like our drinks. She said oh ok. We took the majority of our food with us as we ran out of time and we finally received our drinks at the same time we asked for our bill. I realize restaurants can have “off” nights but this was too much!

    This used to be one of the best restaurants in St. Charles. The BBQ was good and the bourbon selection was stellar. It had been years since I've been but was back in the area after moving away and decided this would be a good place to go. I wasn't impressed. The food was just okay. I got the brisket with green beans and potato salad and a couple of their signature cocktails. The brisket came out less than lukewarm. The potato salad tasted like the pre-made stuff you get in Walmart. The green beans were good but when they are the best part of your meal, something is wrong. The portion sizes seemed to be about half what they used to be. I left the place still hungry. The biggest disappointment was that they used to give you a bourbon menu with the food menu when you sat down and you could select from all the different bourbons or ask them to make on of their cocktails with a specific kind of bourbon. I didn't get one or even see one. I had to take a drink menu from a different table just to see what the drinks were. The whole experience was just a bit of a let down for a place that used to be so good. It feels like maybe they are struggling to stay afloat and may be cutting corners to save money. It's really kind of sad.

    The A/C is not working properly, the restaurant is dirty, the kitchen was terribly slow. There was hardly anybody there and it took 45 minutes to get the small dinner salad. They were out of the pulled pork so I got the turkey, which seemed like processed turkey that was packed together because you could not see any muscle fibers in it. This used to be such a nice place but it appears like it maybe going out of business soon.

    We always bike by this place finally had the opportunity to try it. The place was not that busy. Food came out quick. Someone else delivered it to us versus the waitress. We had to wait for utensils and napkins plus ketchup. Flagged down just someone who worked there. The bread used on the burger tasted stale. It fell off the bottom and crumbled so we ended up just cutting up the meat and eating it with utensils. Ordered a second drink as we got our meal. The waitress swung by the table after we finished our meal and said my drink was on its way. So about 15-20 minutes after I ordered the drink. The restaurant was still not busy . I told her to cancel the drink and bring us the check. The check came out promptly. Sad. It looked appealing until we had dinner there.
