Hen Quarter Prime brings elevated southern cuisine to the waterfront in Southwest D.C. The dinner menu features southern classics like Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits while showcasing an amazing steak selection staring our Tomahawk Ribeye from Creekstone Farms. The star of Saturday and Sunday brunch is the GRANDE BRUNCH BUFFET with a showstopping chilled seafood bar, carving stations, charcuterie stations, bottomless mimosas, bloody mary bars & more!     I and group of friends decided to have brunch on Sunday, July 13th. We had a great time and our Wsitress KeKe was PHENOMENAL! She made sure our water glass stayed filled, our table was clear and her kindness was a bright light. She REALLY made the who experience 10/10

    Saw a post on Instagram and couldn’t wait to visit. Seeing we would be in DC for our Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc.’s 57th National Convention, we made reservations! Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were seated immediately and order taken. Drinks were delish and the crab legs were amazing! Will definitely visit next time I’m in the area! Loved all of it!

    They purposely take all day to bring you the crab legs so it’s not really all you can eat. 3/10 experience

    Husband and I visited DC for an extended weekend for our anniversary. The shrimp & grits at Hen Quarter are absolute perfection. A definite highlight of our food choices overall. The jazz band was an added bonus!!!! We will make it a point to come back every time.

    overall, we had a very good experience. We did have to wait for food to come out but the drinks came out faster than we could drink them. Our server, Aiyana, was really nice and accommodating. This may be our new favorite place to come on Thursday nights. The live music was great as well.

    Took my husband on a Sunday brunch date. Reservations were for 11. Food was fresh and Cory was our waiter. He was attentive and took his job seriously. Making sure that we enjoyed the food and even bought us out a fresh batch of fried chicken. My peach lemonade was delicious and the food selection was great.

    Our reservation was for 7pm. We wanted the all you can eat crab legs. Reservations are for two hours and we didn’t receive any crab legs until almost 8pm. Our server didn’t come until 30-40 minutes into our reservation. The cornbread was very bland tasting and the crabs were a little over cooked. The meat was stuck to the inside of the shell. The seating inside was crowded and tables were close together; so close that when we walked in the guests next to us had their bottles in our table to make room on theirs. I don’t know what the deal was with our actual server, but salute to the bartender for trying to be both a server and a bartender though. They may have been understaffed. Multiple customers were disappointed during our visit and you could tell he was trying his best.
