    The service was great! Food is overhyped (Not that good) and overpriced for what you get! Drinks were great (Cranberry Margarita). The ambiance is nice, but don’t believe the hype!

    Sadly, I got an off menu item (Halibut)that was for Mother’s Day and it was extended for the remaining week. I bet they didn’t sell out on the Halibut reason for the extension, and that should have been my red flag. For the hefty price it was 2/5, very dry and sadly not so good. It came over a bed of Asparagus, small potatoes and artichoke. It was ok but nothing to rave about. I got a side order of the puree potatoes and that was good. The entrees don’t come with any salads, rice, or starch but what they basically put in the plate for garnish purpose. The ambience and restaurant was very nice and so were the serving staff. If you go, don’t get the Halibut as it’s NOT worth it!

    Very good food. Only complaint was the dishes were not served hot. Rather on the lukewarm warm side. I would prefer my food hot! Especially a gourmet meal.

    Food was excellent. If you order an appetizer, you can share for 2. Plenty of food. Same with the sides, share also. Toffee pudding is a must! Don’t share that. You will want your own.

    First of all shout out to Jason, our server. He was fabulous, as was all the other staff. From the cocktails, to our entrees (best Beef Wellington I’ve ever had) , to our dessert expresso martini, everything was superb.

    We had a party of six for Mother's Day at the Hell's Kitchen at Harrah's SoCal. Most of us chose the Prix Fixe choice which included Seared Scallops as an appetizer, Beef Wellington as entree and Sticky Toffee Pudding as dessert. The seared scallops were tasty but borderline cold. The potato puree that was with the Beef Wellington was cold as well. I don't know what they are doing in the kitchen but I returned my Beef Wellington because I wasn't going to enjoy my meal with cold potatoes. However, the replacement came back and, again, the puree was cold and the Beef Wellington now was lukewarm.

    Ok. Uhm. To be completely honest. It was a total letdown. We ordered seared scallops, tuna tartare, and the bone marrow for the appetizers. The bone marrow was great but the others were ok. For our main course, we got two beef wellingtons with a lobster tail topper. The beef Wellington was a 5/10. I honestly thought the puff pastry was going to be a little crispy and flaky but it wasn’t. I was soggy like a wet bread. The lobster tail was as small as a crayon for $35…. But whatever. My wife got the fillet mignon medium rare. And it came back Rare. We went here for Mother’s Day and to try the famous Beef Wellington. For $500. Totally not worth it. Just overhyped because of the TV show.
