                                                                                                          This year I have eaten at Heliot on a fairly regular basis and usually everything is 5 star but last Saturday evening the service and attention to detail was lacking. The staff did their best to rectify our issues and gave a generous discount off our bill which, although appreciated, shouldn't have been necessary if the food standard had been as usual. The starters were excellent, the steaks were excellent but the sides were very poor. Triple cooked chips looked anaemic and were cold, creamed spinach was luke warm and when we mentioned this to the waiter he tested the temperature of the dish by putting his finger in it - luckily he agreed with us and the dish was removed. All the sides were replaced but arrived back the same so we just decided to not eat them. We were a table of 10 and I feel that the kitchen struggled to coordinate the timings of our dishes. I will be returning to Heliot and write this review to highlight the problem we encountered and not to 'bad mouth' an excellent venue for a night out.

                                                                                                          Service was extremely slow. We were attending the Magic Mike show, so ensured to arrive with plenty of time, but it took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Others were being served their food before us even tho we had arrived before them. Even to recieve the bill we waited 20 minutes.

                                                                                                          Our 4th visit, celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. We ordered sea bass ceviche and trio of sliders to start and a tasting board with sides for our main. Food was exceptional, service was on point, attentive without being overbearing. Celebratory dessert was a nice touch and much appreciated. We wouldn’t consider having steak anywhere else! Many thanks Heliot team, see you again next year.

                                                                                                          Great staff, very helpful and positive. I was served quickly. The food itself was good, my steak was a little fatty though. The noise level was a little high, but seeing as it's located in the middle of a casino, that is to be expected. Prices are ok for what you get.
