Always a treat! The food is consistently delicious. I’ve never been disappointed. Took my caterer friend last night and she loved it. They had some new menu items. Loved the fried green tomatoes and the chicken schnitzel was divine, served with a lemony pasta

What's not to love about Helen's? Every visit is outstanding. The food, the service, the cool neighborhood vibe. We have never had a bad plate here. Last night was no exception. The apple salad, fried green tomatoes, pork belly taco, mac & cheese and muscles were all fabulous. And the service, always friendly, efficient and unhurried. Helen's is a neighborhood treasure.

The food and drinks were AMAZING! We completely cleaned our plates. The only downside was our service. Our waitress sorta disappeared multiple times during the evening. A different server even came over a couple of times to check on us. As we were leaving we saw our server sitting and hanging out with another guest at the bar (which explained her absence). It was a bit disappointing. It seemed like it was bothering other workers as well.

This is our second visit to Helen's and it did not disappoint. The food and service were spot on. We love the petit plate options which in our experience have all been delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. The vibe is that of a great neighborhood bar. It's a definite favorite worthy of many repeat visits.

What a delightful surprise! Our first visit and every single dish was 5 star: shrimp and grits was smoky and deep flavored, short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender; my husband couldn’t stop raving about the mussels and ordered extra bread to soak up every drop of broth. Even the side dishes were fantastic: roasted carrots on whipped feta and roasted Brussels sprouts with artichoke hearts. Cocktails excellent. Be sure to make a reservation- they are popular for very good reason.
