   The food was Amazing! Our waiter seemed a little impersonal until the end of our dinner he finally looked at us while speaking to us. Otherwise, such a great experience, we would definitely go back.

   Sitting on the enclosed porch with its natural lighting and outside views was a great environment to dine, especially with the happy hour specials offered.

   Service and ambience were very good. Wine selection was. Varied a more than adequate. The wedge salad was very good and flavorful but the entrees were somewhat lacking the duck was ok but the short ribs lacked flavor and I ending up not eating them they seemed dried out as if they were leftovers

   This is one of my go-to local restaurants for my wife and I if we’re looking to have a nice, classy meal. It’s wild to think it’s as nice as it is, tucked away in a corner of Va Beach - but the food is outstanding and the service staff Carrie’s themselves similar to the teams of waiters at Ruth’s Chris. The food is excellent and they make a good Old Fashioned. It is pricey - be ready to spend some money if you go - but you can’t beat it if you’re looking for an intimate place with great service, a nice ambiance, and awesome food.

   As always, Heirloom was terrific. We always go there for special occasions. Service folks were lovely. The place was jammed as it was Saturday night and the night before Easter, so it was a little louder than it usually is but we could al hear each other which is more than you can do at most restaurants these days. I had the fantail shrimp which was divine.
