   Food was average. The service was poor. Our server was not trained. Keep leaving the table to ask questions, didn't know how to open a wine bottle. Coffee was not good. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this restaurant.

   We have been to the Heirloom Restaurant for lunch and supper. Each time we had very good food and service. We are saddened to hear of Heirlooms closing and hope a new site will be found and the restauarant reopen. Thank you to the staff for making our visits enjoyable and tasty.

   We're in a big group and they messed up with the bill and made us pay more, I just realized after the fact. The food was not great, but ok.

   The meals were very good, we just had a server that wasn't very well informed and didn't seem too interested in our presence. We ordered coffee with desert and the coffee never came. Oh well can't get everything right.

   The food was definitely not worth the price. The fish (bass) was over cooked and the rice was tastlessly dry. The Korean burger was okay but did not live up to its expectations from reading the menu's description. The brown sugar cream pie should have been served warm and should be more creamy. It was more gelatinous than creamy. The waiter seemed to hate his job and would sigh every time he came over, which was only to take our orders, drop off the food, and for dessert.

   We were there on a Sunday afternoon. This is a casual restaurant, more like a large coffee place with tables. Although there were plenty of tables available, curiously we were seated at one in the bar. We had a 1:45 reservation, and according to Open Table there also was a 2:00 time slot available. But by the time our food arrived shortly after 2, they had already started closing the place down. Other customers had trickled out and we were the only table and our service started to slack off. At times it was difficult to find a wait person, and one told us that her own food was waiting "in the back". When we ordered we were told that several dishes were no longer available and that the only fruit they had was "maybe some" oranges. On the upside, what we did get was by and large pretty good except for the chorizo gravy on biscuits. I don't recommend it -- the gravy left a small pool of grease on the plate and the biscuits were soggy. The pancake/sausages were good as was the bacon. I highly recommend the cinnamon rolls! I'd go there for an early brunch (note "early") and for a leisurely coffee.

   Limited and unusual brunch entrees. The baked French toast a bit dry on the outside. Apple butter, bacon, and potatoes were very good. Service was uninspired.

   Overall the experience, service, and quality of the food were excellent. Only minor remark is that it took a while for the food to arrive to our table once ordered.

    We were most pleased with Heirloom and our server was great. We very much like the fact that their policy is to use local sourced food. Our only disappointment was that a couple of items on the short lunch menu were not available. However, the "chickewich" (not sure of their spelling on it) was very good. The chicken was moist and the coating was delicious. I enjoyed the fries and the sweet potato lentil soup was wonderful. My husband was very pleased with his patty melt. We had a bit of trouble locating it. There is no big sign.
