From farm, forest, pasture and stream, we work to create a meal that nourishes the body as well as the heart by providing a sense of place and season. We preserve the bounty of spring and summer to sustain us through the fall and winter while respecting what each season brings anew. We feel we can be forward thinking by looking backwards, create something new by acknowledging our past. We call our food “modern farmhouse cuisine”

    Had dinner Tuesday evening 4/17. The food and service were outstanding. Enjoyed the beet tart and the chicken was delicious! This was my first experience and would go there again!

    Excellent food, varied, beautiful tastes pairings. Portions just right, three courses satisfying without feeling over fed. Service attentive but not intrusive.

    Had a nice business dinner with a visitor from France. She thought it was really terrific - very thoughtful composition of each dish. Service was very attentive but not overbearing.

    I had a lovely time, service was great, several of the dishes were delicious, and I loved the wine selection. However, I was very disappointed in the grain porridge dish. There were no vegetarian options for the third course.

    The dining experience was great! We've been there twice now and had wonderful experiences both times. The food is inventive, delicious, and beautiful! We ordered too much food though - my advice would be to share either the 1st or 2nd course. It seems like 2nd courses are easier to share. Skip the bread unless you REALLY LOVE bread. And, the sticky toffee cake at the end was amazing - but order it with a coffee (even a decaf). It is really sweet but absolutely delicious. We'll be back again, but probably when the menu changes a bit for the seasons.
