    Great Lunch prefix bento type of menu, definitely a good portion and eat dish had loads of flavor. The space was a bit noisy as sound echos - but venue was spacious and nice. Services was excellent.

    My 2nd time here! We came for lunch during the weekend - the vibe was a little more laid back compared to the weekday. Good food and great value for the variety of dishes served in the set. The eggplant was divine!

    The presentation and quality of the food were wonderful. We all loved everything. We were there one one of the only hot nights in SF and the restaurant got really warm inside. The music was a bit too loud and the service was a little clunky but very kind. I would recommend it for a smaller casual group.

    You will not find food like this at such an amazing price in SF anywhere else! For ~$20, you can set a set of five dishes (with multiple different protein options) and it will be guaranteed to fill you up! I ordered the veggie set and my partner ordered the shrimp set and both were so so delicious. Each dish had a unique flavor that you typically don't taste when eating Thai food (probably due to the region it's from), but the harmony between all the flavors of each dish with itself and one another is immaculate. My favorite was the eggplant, which was sweet and savory but still fairly light. The curry was also so rich and creamy with the coconut broth, it pairs well with the veggie set and rice. I loved the longan iced tea, but don't recommend the Thai iced tea as much because it tasted fairly watered down compared to other restaurants I've had it at. Nonetheless, I loved the food here. It was filling, but fresh and healthy which made me feel great after!

    Out of the way Thai restaurant in the financial district located at the end of an alley. Food is served in sets so you get a assortment of small dishes. I had the vegetable set and my friend the chicken. Mine was delicious, the eggplant some of the best I’ve had. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

    We celebrated just getting married at Hed. It was amazing. The restaurant went out of their way to make everything so special. Great service. Delicious food. Reasonable pricing. Truly a gem in the city. Want to bring a big group here and tons of friends.

    The food was the star of this show. We had the Pork Belly and Chicken sets and everything was flavorful and delicious. Servers were efficient and attentive. The ambiance was fine, nothing amazing, but not terrible either. Would definitely go back to try more sets :)

    A hidden gem in the Financial District. The restaurant is tucked away in a little alley just off of Kearny Street. The interior is nice and bright, with high ceilings and tasteful decorations. We came during lunch and enjoyed the food. The different "sets" they offer provide a great way to sample various dishes on one tray. My veggie set (minus the dried shrimp from the salad) was delicious!

    Fantastic! Portions are deceivingly BIG!! Great value, great opportunity to try something new. Very nice service. The ONLY thing was that the ambiance was off because of how dark it was. I was starting to fall asleep and couldn’t see my friend across the table. I think some light music would make the ambiance a little better too!

    Such a great find in the city! Menu isn’t particularly novel or creative; this place is about quality ingredients, complimentary flavors and making variety accessible with a smaller number of diners (you get a little of everything!). Love the set menu structure, and the jazz in the background creates a relaxing atmosphere that isn’t pretentious. Solid restaurant that I’ll be returning to soon!

    Was curious since I had heard so much about the place. I found the price to portion ratio to be out of whack. The flavors were subtle, to say the least, and servings were meniscal. I'd rather go to an established Thai restaurant, so I am not likely to return.

    There on a Sunday for lunch. Place 1/2 full. Restaurant at end of an alley way bordering FiDi and Downtown. Noise level not bad but can see it being loud if full. Service was pleasant and efficient. Seems like no heating in the dining room. Very chilly and had to keep jacket on. Restroom is unisex, clean and had heat on! Set menu entree combos range from mains of vegetable, beef, shrimp, chicken or fish(catfish) with accompanying sides such as papaya salad, squash, soup and glass noodle. Desert(pudding) is $4 additional option at lunch time but included at dinner time which explains the dinner time set menu costing $4 more than at lunchtime. I had the chicken green curry set combo meal, $19.95. The accompanying sides such as papaya salad, butternut squash, soup, etc were all 4 stars good. However, chicken was very dry and tough, 2 stars. Either overcooked or reheated from previous. 3 types of rice( jasmine, brown and rice berry)comes with meal and was slightly undercooked. Adding the curry to the rice compensated for that. Thai ice tea had too much condense milk in it being too sweet and overwhelmed any tea flavor, 3 stars.

    Food was good, cool and big space. Two servers for the entire restaurant felt a tad too few. They also brought out dessert while we were still finishing our meal. Also tried to clear my tray even as I was still eating from it. Rushed to give us the check and have us pay. But there was no one waiting and seemingly no reason to try to rush us through the meal. This was about only an hour into the meal, too. If there were a lot of people waiting or clearly reservations booked I would understand, but there were plenty of open tables and 0 people outside. The chicken (white meat) in the green curry was also very dry. Shrimp main was ok. Sides were relatively good though.

    Great spot! Went with my co-worker for lunch and it was perfect. Delicious food, decent price, and good amount of food to keep you going for the rest of the work day. 100% recommend.

    Found this restaurant on yelp while looking for a restaurant for a special date night. Seemed like a trendy type of restaurant with expensive dishes. With that being said that wasn’t the case. The entry’s were priced at affordable prices. Looking at the pictures on yelp, it didn’t seem like much food, with that being said, in person the portions are decently sized. I ordered the chicken set and my partner ordered the fish set. Both sets had tons of flavor, the green chicken curry was spicier than it looked but wasn’t anything overwhelming. All of the dishes had a decent flavor made with fresh ingredients. I booked a reservation for Hed with a special note for anniversary and the waitress surprised us with some roses and an anniversary card. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try some Thai food.

    We did a team event of 33 folks with various food requirements. They were amazing at accommodating. I had reached out a few weeks prior and we did a pre-order to ensure that the lunch was timely and accommodated all food accommodations. I would recommend 100% and everyone LOVED the food!

    I had a reservation for my girlfriend and I on our little adventure in downtown. We were greeted right after entering and was seated with a minute of checking-in. The place is hella nice, it's so clean and the decor was really nice. First off, I had asked if there was anything that could be done romantically to accomodate my date, and they ended up giving a vase of roses (every table had regular assorted flowers) and they gave us two bigger roses placed on our menus and honestly it was the best and my girlfriend hella loved it so much. We got chicken satay to start off, and the sauce was hella good, the little veggie strips included with it complimented it well. I forgot what my girlfriend got, but I got the longan iced tea and THAT was hella good. My girlfriend got the shrimp set for dinner and I got beef, the tray that included the portions and everything was presented so neatly and nice and everything looked so good. Everything tasted so good too, I was able to finish my food. The coconut pudding I had following-up was so damn good also. The restroom is also hella nice and clean and their soap was nice too. Our servers were so nice and courteous I swear. I would love to come back again soon, I'm telling everyone I know about this place. Keep up the good service!

    Very excellent Thai Food to celebrate a relative’s Birthday. Parking is my only issue since you can’t barely find one available near by. But the food is worth overcoming the parking issue. Chef came to our table to ask us about the degree of spicy food we could tolerate. Very touching detail from her, which we appreciate it. Thank you!

    It’s a different concept all served in an ‘Indian style Thali’ a pre-set plate with all sides and mains together, pre matched. I had the fish which was good but the chicken option ( my friends choice) with the chicken curry (especially the sauce) was fantastic! Place was cosy, minimalistic yet perfect. I’ll be back for the chicken dish! Overall , it’s a good adventure, try it.

    Great concept, friendly hosts and servers but the food is not great. Undercooked barley rice, chewy beef, $5 more for 3 pieces of duck and lots more to complain about. The only thing that was a saving grace was the papaya salad. Longan spiced tea with cloves and star anise had way too much clove and star anise infused to the point it tasted like liquorice instead of longan. Overall, the bill came out to be $95 with tip for two people and at that price point you can get 3 entrees and two sides of rice from other thai restaurants.

    The food was incredibly delicious, absolutely loved the mushroom coconut soup. The amount of value you get for the price and the quality are outstanding. I like that they have a small set menu that lets you enjoy the food without feeling like you missed out on some other delicious option. The servers are attentive but not over attentive and very accommodating.
