   First time at this location and the experience from using OpenTable to reserve all the way through the end of our meal was absolutely spot on! Our server Janice was awesome and friendly and food was spectacular. Coffee is absolutely the best flavor of cinnamon and the atmosphere was very refreshing! Next time will try the patio area. Thank you Hecks for an awesome time with great food!!

   Staff were courteous and doing the best they could, but seriously undermanned. It should not take three hours to sit and have a salmon burger. Wines by the glass selection was not good. Salad was delicious, salmon. Burger was fine. Nice ambience. Lots of different folks come here. It is lively and attractive. And we were seated right away. But seating is not eating.

   One of the worst restaurant visits in years. Every order came out wrong. What was served was amateur hour in the kitchen. This rendition has ruined a good brand. They were known for their burgers. Mine was almost inedible. If you want a good burger go to Hyde Park.

   Initially seated in a high traffic area even though other seating was available. Wasn't given a drink menu until I requested one. The server said she'll try and find one. Eventually we received one.

   Service was pleasant if not energetic. The squid app at $14 came out looking sad, puny, but most importantly, was as rubbery as rubber bands. They were prompt to offer a replacement which was better but not much. The product seemed to be from frozen and then way over cooked. Management then took it off the check ( we sent that back too) and gave us a comped onion rings which were good. My burger was great, tasty and perfectly cooked, but they brioche bun was not sturdy enough to handle the job, got soggy and floppy and was a bit of a mess. Tasty, but awkward to eat. The personnel was lovely, the ambiance good, the menu ok, but the execution from the kitchen, surely no pleasure. I'll wait until I hear that the food improves. And if they ever figure out how to prepare squid, as an inexpensive protein it ought to be twice as generously served with a bit of composition rather than a few random squid morsels on a plate.

   Nice restaurant. Good food. Poor service and very slow. Waitress kept forgetting items. Took forever to bring food or drinks out. Waitress would disappear for 15-20 mins at a time.

    This has become a go to spot...however, it appears service fluctuates depending on where you are seated. Main dining area: Excellent..attentive, friendly servers. Bar/bar area: Dicey...pleasant but disappearing servers. Food is consistently good.

    Reserved a table weeks in advance, host led us to a room separate from the main dining room, to a table against a wall. At least 7 other 4 top tables were open. Food was good. Rarely saw our server.

    The food was very good. My husband & I had Burgers & Fries. The main dining room is very noisy. The service was fair. It took forever to get our drink. Finally someone stopped by to ask us if we were waiting for something (not the waitress). We will go back to try the restaurant again. We will make a reservation in the bar where the noise level is lower than the main dining room.

    It took a good 20 minutes for someone to come wait on us, and that was only after we asked twice to send our server over. According to our server, no one knew who had our table. After that, service improved although they brought 4 waters and 4 sets of utensils when we were a table of 5…and we had to ask twice for the 5th water and set of silverware. Food was ok. Fries were good but the veggie burger was basically shredded veggies that fell apart when you picked up the sandwich. Others in my party liked their hamburgers.

    Though the menu was vast with lots of options and our food was delicious, the service was not up to par. From front desk service not paying attention to waiting customers to waiting over an hour for just appetizer, it doesn’t matter how busy, I wouldn’t say the service is the best.

    Service was extremely slow. It took 57 minutes to get a drink Drinks were fair at best. I will never go back. The bill was outrageous for what we got. The drinks are extremely expensive and fair at best. Again, every time we ordered a drink it took at least 20 minutes after our initial order! Vodka soda doesn’t need to take so long. It was not that busy. Such a disappointment!

    We all had burgers at our table and they were fantastic. The place is beautiful and we were very impressed with the service. From the moment we walked in to the moment, we sat down, everyone was very kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

    First time visitors to Heck's in Beachwood. Had a 6:45 pm reservation, arrived 6:40 and was seated at our table at 6:59, but not greeted by our waitress until 7:12. The restaurant was very busy with many people awaiting seating. We both ordered burger, which were the highlight of the meal. A huge portion of fries accompanied the burger, but they were lukewarm at best. The wine list is better at most gas stations. Very poor selection by bottle and by the glass. Our waitress did not how to use a corkscrew. Seems they need time to work out the "kinks", do some fundamental training and work on their wine list.

    Restaurant is great (food, service, etc) but I brought my team from work for a happy hour at 3:30pm (place was dead) and we were told happy hour is only for people sitting at the bar. We were already sitting at our reserved table and there was 8 of us, so moving to the bar was not feasible. (The bar was 10 feet away, why does 10 feet affect the price haha.) its 3:30, let the whole damn restaurant use the Happy Hour menu!

    Once we were sat it took about ten to fifteen minutes for a server to approach our table. She inquired if we’d been helped, to which we replied no, and she stated “sorry, people don’t know how to take direction” - whatever that means. She took our drink order and brought waters. Our appetizers were very tasty and worth the money. Our meals took an extraordinarily long time to arrive, for which our server apologized and stated the kitchen was backed up. Our table was in the corner and inundated with fruit flies, and they kept getting into my brothers wine, which he requested they replace. He had to keep a napkin over his glass they were so bad. You could tell our server was nervous about how long the food was taking so she was avoiding our table. When we flagged her down for more water, she refilled my brothers and no one else’s empty glasses and then walked away. Portions were very small for the exorbitant price and the veggie burger has NO flavor. Everything else tasted okay. Because server avoided our table, we just gave her our cards to split the bill. She brought them back with receipts to sign, but there was no itemized receipt so I don’t know if she charged my brother for the glass of wine to replace the ones with flies in it. We waited to request one but she never returned. Atmosphere is good but service is mediocre and food is definitely not worth the (expensive) price, in both portion sizes and flavor. Fruit flies abound. We will not be returning.

    Our reservation on Mother’s Day was at 4:15 PM. Our servers apparently didn’t get there till 4:30 PM so the poor manager had to be our server and manage at the same time. It took a half hour for my mom to get her mock tail. Our calamari was like rubber. My veggie burger was ice cold. Didn’t touch it. Very disappointed as we have been to Heck’s before and had a great experience. That being said Management was fantastic!

    The hostess was rude and unhelpful. She felt that they was busy and it was Mother’s Day. The hostess replies was short and shapely spoken. We waited for a hour for our food and the food was cold when served. We arrived early for our reservation, they did not seat us, but the table was an unoccupied, our while we waited for 30 minutes.

    First time at Heck’s which was on Mother’s Day which I thought would be busy and it really wasn’t the service was slow the menu was never explained when you asked a question about an item on the menu no one really seemed to know the answer we sat at the table for an hour with only water and our conversations before we placed an order the place is gorgeous but the service is terrible I’ll probably never go back tbh

    I like Heck’s which is why I chose to go there on Mother’s Day. Overall everything was pleasant & enjoyable. However, I wasn’t aware that they would have a limited menu for Mother’s Day which mainly consisted of all burgers! An extended Brunch menu and/or Lunch with more Chicken options would have been nice! I asked & @ 3pm was told we could only order off of the specialized Dinner Menu.

    It’s clear that they are understaffed. Our waitress what very sweet but it took forever to get our food and it was cold by the time it came. We ended up not getting part of our order but we had waited so long we were just happy to get out of there. The interior seems nice and it has a big patio. The food was just ok. We really like the OHC location so if we go back, it’ll probably be there.
