Located in a historic, 135-year-old Victorian home in the heart of Breckenridge, the Hearthstone Restaurant has been a locals' favorite since 1989 for wild game, fresh seafood, and hand-cut steaks all creatively prepared by our talented culinary team.

Our extensive and reasonably priced wine list has received the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" annually since 1997.

Reservations are for dinner service. Happy hour is first come, first served on the patio and in our Victorian Lounge. We look forward to serving you and your guests.

We had a lovely dinner. I had made a reservation ahead, and had a bad table location, right at the top of the stairs, in high activity area, so very busy and noisy. Food was great and our server James was great. Overall service was so-so, probably due to the problem with help that is common today, especially in our county!

We had a delicious dinner here for my husband’s birthday! The ELK was amazing as was the Lamb! Highly recommended! Be sure to get the carrot cake for dessert, one of the best we’ve ever had! Will definitely go back!

My husband and I enjoyed our 15th wedding t anniversary with an exceptional meal! We both ordered the filet meal and it was buttery smooth deliciousness!!! The twice baked potatoes were awesome too! Our server Santiago was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a stunning view and received a lovely champagne toast and dreamy homemade truffles. To say we were spoiled is an understatement! I highly recommend!!!

We returned to Hearthstone for an anniversary dinner. 30 years ago, we held our rehearsal dinner in the upstairs Victorian room. They also catered our big day. Wonderful meal.

Me and my husband came for our honeymoon and really enjoyed the food! My husband got the elk & I got the steak and he absolutely loved it, personally my steak was a little over cooked but overall was super delicious! So cute and definitely somewhere you need to go in Breckenridge! The food and VIEWS!!! We will absolutely be coming here again

Apps and main dishes and dessert were all off the charts good. Waitperson Ashley was a 10/10. Only slight negative was we were seated on the second floor which is also the bar area - so it was a bit loud for a 5 star dining experience.

We had a wonderful time! This was our second time enjoying the food. We were not disappointed! Taylor was awesome helping us decide - salmon latkes are to die for!! The carrot cake with the vanilla bourbon shake was delicious! We’ll be back!!

We were really looking forward to our dinner here, but ultimately were disappointed. The dishes looked beautiful, but the taste was meh. The rice was undercooked, the shrimp was overcooked. My husband had the blackberry elk ordered med rare, and it was closer to med well, the sauce tasted like beef bouillon without a hint of berry. The waitress was amazing though, and we tipped her well, but the food was way overpriced for how it tasted.

A fabulous meal all around! A welcoming environment from the minute we walked in. The food was amazing, from starters through dessert. The service was equally spectacular. Love the creative and delicious food and the amazing service . But as the only one who didn’t drink alcohol at my table, I felt punished with the glass of juice in a kid’s glass for not having wine or a traditional cocktail. Especially when I was the one paying for dinner :) I will definitely be back for dinner…. Maybe just bring my own beverage.
