Went here while visiting Houston and was very pleased. Cocktails were delicious and creative. The “El Diablo” was especially delicious. Great service and food, would definitely return.
Very attentive and friendly staff. Food is always excellent and served hot verses warm no matter what the wait is. Positive environment and very welcoming.
I really enjoyed everything!!! Table was ready when we arrived food and mimosas were both great. Only downfall was trying to find parking so get there early to find parking
Just love this restaurant . Always pick for theater and sporting events. Great food and ambiance.
Fantastic like always
The food and service was AMAZING! This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to return.
We really enjoyed our New Year's dinner! Everything was great and we will be back!
We were made to sit in front of the restroom when the entire place was empty for over an hour and a half after we arrived. I tried to get a time of around 6.30/7 for the reservation, but opentable was showing that my best latest dinner time available was 5.15 pm. Like I stated before, the place was EMPTY, and I am not exaggerating, at one point around 6.15, there were more than twice as many restaurant staff than people in the place. We did ask for a different table, but we were told ALL of them were "reserved"! Food is strictly OK, for the price they charge, I would not bother with this place. I am curious why this place has such good ratings, probably the other places in Houston are not as good is the only explanation I can come up with.
Service was good, even with upstairs busy. Kitchen was questionable. Coffee warm , not hot. My steak and eggs were over cooked.
First and foremost, the food was outstanding and reasonably portioned. Don’t go with a huge appetite without being prepared for a large bill.
With that said, our service was so terrible, I don’t know we would return. Our waters weren’t being refilled and our expensive cocktails seemed to be the last ones attended to for each order. For two of us, we spent 1.5 hrs for a 2 course meal, a bit excessive I’m my opinion. Maybe it was due to the holidays, or maybe the service just needs another look.
Anyways, hope this helps the next group making an educated guess on where to go out for a nice downtown Houston meal
