   My friend and I sat inside since it was a bit chilly. Our waiter Patrick was great! Loved the food and Mexican margaritas. I had chicken fried steak. One of the best ever. My friend had the enchiladas. She said they were delish.

   The food is Amazing! We all ordered something different and everybody was so pleased with what they ordered. The Berry Heaven is wonderful!!! We sat outside and the wait staff were so attentive. Definitely will come back.

   First time to Hays City Store. Read reviews and was excited to try. Had reservations and was seated right away. Had asked for outside but got seated inside. No biggie. We started with the home run and it was pretty tasty. Green salsa was very good. Boyfriend wanted chicken fried chicken but they had run out. He got the hamburger steak and I got the grilled shrimp. Food was hot and came out fairly fast. We both agreed that food was decent but probably wouldn’t make the drive out just for the food. Margarita flight was really good! If we find out way in the area again we’ll probably just have drinks and appetizers.

    Took almost 30 minutes to get our beverages then another hour or so for food. I talked manager, who said he would be right over, and never did. We enjoy going there but not anymore on weekends during lunch.

    We always have a great time here. I would love to see more traditional Sunday Brunch items on Sunday. Or more specials, they typically have some amazing specials sneak up on you, so keep an eye out for those.

    Beautiful setting in the hill country with lots of outdoor seating and a covered open air bar. Took awhile to get service but it was a weekend. Service was professional and cordial. Food was generally good, although I remember saying my burger was good but maybe not $12 good. All in all a delightful place to grub, drink and watch football.

    Brunch on 1/1/23 was really good. I had the chicken and waffle (Texas shaped), hubs had the chicken fried steak and eggs and said it was really good as did my sister. Brother in law had the truck stop enchiladas with eggs and I assume it was good because his plate was clean. I will be trying that next time. Bloody Mary was $5 during brunch. It was sort of sweet for some reason but was still good. Great place for a Sunday brunch.

    We had delicious prime rib, a tasty sampler of salsa, Queso, bean dip, and guacamole, fish tacos and filling enchiladas. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this restaurant and bar.

    Great food, excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend the Onion Rings, the Chicken Fried Steak, the burgers and the pizza. Great place to eat and relax with friends.

    My bf & I made a reservation here not sure what to expect...the reservation was acknowledged however in regards to where we sat and the service, some was left to be desired. The food was delicious! We're both burger & wing lovers and we enjoyed just this, 6 Big Lemon Pepper wings to share, I had the G.O.A.T Burger, the bf enjoyed a Bacon Swiss Burger. I ultimately wouldn't recommend reservations at this type of restaurant, they're not required unless told otherwise. I mentioned in the reservation that my birthday is today, no mention was ever made, no acknowledgement given, for someone like me that loves birthdays, celebrating, etc a letdown...again, a reservation is not required. Our server was nice, but appeared "in the weeds" as it took over 5 mins to be acknowledged that we were even there & 5 mins more to get our sweet tea, 10 mins more for him to get our order. We put our order in all at once & asked for it to be as paced as possible so we didn't get it all at once, 2 mins after the wings arrived, the burgers arrived. Another reason for my visit was to try the margarita flight, but had to ask for a drink menu, again, perhaps not important aspects when considering the style of restaurant I suppose, however still mention worthy. We'll come back to try different items and hear live music when it comes back!

    It's so nice to be able to have a reservation at this always busy restaurant! We walked right in and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and even though we tried some new items, the food was just as delicious as we are accustomed to getting here!

    We love the ice house and come once a week normally. The food was just fine, as always. The young fellow who served us was okay but he left dirty plates on the table while serving dessert. Removing dirty plates should be a MUST for any server.

    We were talking with some other regulars at HCS and agreed that the reason we’re there so often is that you just cannot find a better place within a 30 minute drive of Wimberley, Kyle, SanMo… Good food, good service, chill atmosphere, fantastic drinks for every mood, frequently live music, bring your pup and generally friendly customers! Order an OTT and be happy;-)

    We love going here, the table top heaters help to make eating outside enjoyable in the cooler temps. My only negative was that the margaritas were sooo very strong. Everything else was amazing.
