   I’ve been a long -term Fairmont guest, I still have my original President’s Club membership card! So naturally choosing Fairmont Palliser for Mothers Day brunch was easy. However, the food was 100% not up to par and very bland and overcooked (eggs benedict was so basic,boring and no flavor, potatoes overcooked, bacon extremely thin, dry, overcooked) the service was polite and attentive but not very professional to Fairmont standards. I can certainly say I was disappointed as was the whole table. The atmosphere was as always incredible, live music a fabulous touch…but the menu offering and the food itself was definitely a let down. Hopefully this will not be the case the next time I return !

   Went here for Mother’s Day tea. The experience was exceptional, and we certainly will come back for tea at some other time. 🙂

   I booked brunch for 11:00am with a friend, with spa treatments booked for 1:00pm. First we were seated at a small table in the back that would be more suitable for happy hour, not brunch. There were a ton of open tables but because they were setting up for afternoon high tea we could not be seated there, even though high tea wasn’t for 2 hours. Our server was nowhere to be found for over 10 minutes when we were ready to order, we had to ask the server at the table next to ours if he could come by. We ordered The Hawthorn brunch experience for 2, the starter came somewhat quickly but the second course took quite a while and was not hot when it did arrive. The food itself was just okay and the croissants were missing. But because we had spa treatments at 1pm and wanted to use the hot tub before, we figured we’d be done brunch around noon but by 12:20 we had to flag down the server again just to get our bill. Overall was not a great dining experience for two moms treating ourselves to a Mother’s Day getaway.

   Lovely! We had a great breakfast the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. They gave us a beautiful chocolate cake for a birthday!

   We were in awe of the interior decor and architecture of the hotel that it was an added bonus to our dining experience. The service was impeccable from the host who seated us at our table to our server to the food. It was all a 10+! And we will definitely return again!

    Celebrated a big family win here and it did not disappoint. Vibes were on point, service was super smooth, and the non-alc cocktails? Shockingly good. Bonus points for the surprise treat from the kitchen—such a nice touch. Definitely worth a visit.
