Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

The experience was amazing! My husband and I (together with our little one) celebrated our Wedding Anniversary with the 3-course meal Lunch express. The food exceeded our expectations and we are very pleased with the whole experience. The food from starters to the desserts are all very tasty! The ambiance is relaxing and all the staffs are so friendly and accommodating, especially the lady in the front desk. I am also happy that they have catered our request for a Pram-space table seat for our little one which is helpful. It was a wonderful experience to celebrate our Anniversary!

Excellent Sunday roast, we had it with the sides of cauliflower cheese and the stuffing, the stuffing was fantastic. very friendly staff, bill came promptly when requested. we sat in a corner booth and it was comfortable.

Good service but very average food and extortionate prices. £6 for a single sweet potato. Portions of sides are a rip off for the size. Wouldn’t go back for the money now with so many other good places for a Sunday roast in London

First time for us here. Our reservation was at Lunchtime and felt very Canary Wharf Business lunches going on. Will definitely be returning but maybe try a visit in the evening as I feel the atmosphere must be electric. Staff were attentive and food was cooked perfectly and delicious.
