Hawksmoor Bar at Wood Wharf is one of the biggest bars we have and it comes with its own heated waterside terrace, too. But what's unique is that it now offers the same full Hawksmoor dining experience as the restaurant upstairs - just in a more casual environment. A lively atmosphere and quality drinks are a given, though: our wine and cocktail menus speak to everyone from post-work sippers to a weekend crowd looking for a proper night out. The bar hits a high note with events. There's space for up to 250/340 (winter/summer) people for exclusive-use drinks receptions and events. Or our semi-private spaces are great for after work gatherings, networking, parties and special celebrations, with space for up to 160 people, semi-private. For seated group-dining experiences it's 34 guests max. Our waterside terrace hosts standing events year-round. It's heated, with comfortable seating, its own sound system and dramatic views of Canary Wharf.

We just missed the bar menu (by 30mins!) and so had a few starters and sides between us. Delicious ! The sour cherry negroni is lovely!!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere on the Lowback. In fact I would prefer it too the restaurant. Sunday lunch was excellent but service a bit slow. We had to wait ages for drinks despite there being a huge number of staff behind the bar and our lunch too ages to arrive. We chased it and they said the delay was because we ordered a steak !!! Overall would definitely go back

Overall very good. Langustine starter,Sirloin steak and chips excellent, Guinness and red wine . Will be back soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family get-together and particularly pre-dinner cocktails followed by an excellent Sunday Roast Beef “to share” lunch. Thank you !

I’ve been wanting to try the Hawksmoor burger for a while so booked a table at the Lowback to try it. Sadly it wasn’t very good. The flavour profile was good but the burgers were very dry and flavourless. I wouldn’t recommend. Overall the service was good and its in a great location but the burger is best avoided

Had the roast. It was good although the potatoes were a little hard and disappointing. Everything else was great. Scampi and cauliflower cheese exceptional Great staff.

Service needs an improvement, Aperitif served at the same time as the main course so had to juggle wine and cocktails at the same time. The main course was served with side plates, had to ask for horseradish, which was a shame as there were only three people in the restaurant. Food was good, however roast potatoes need a lot of work.
