    I went for a Sunday brunch with 3 girlfriends to celebrate one of our birthdays. Positives: The place is adorable and love the farm to table aspect. FoxPoint Farms itself is a fun little area to explore in general. Our server was sweet and fun and the restaurant was accommodating to our request to sit inside instead of outside (which I had chosen originally). The cinnamon bun that we got to share was delish! Negatives: Parking is very hard there on a weekend. There were multiple events going on which made the downstairs area feel crowded. The menu sounded great but between 4 of us we ordered 3 different things (hash, benedict and frittata) and they all looked the same to me and mine was kind of bland (hash). We all were in the mood for coffee, like a fun latte we know the place has downstairs. We were told they only had drip coffee (with no refills) or french press. Also they didn't have decaf, unless my friend got a whole oversized french press. And no lattes or fun teas?? They told us we could walk downstairs, stand in the long line and bring a latte upstairs to the restaurant if we wanted. No thanks. This is something I really hope they change for the future. Neutral thoughts: They had a whole bar which might appeal to some, but we weren't looking for that.

    Beautiful location, great service. While expenseive (what isn't these days), we appreciated the creativity of the space, the quality of the food (vegetables from its own farm), and the service. I highly recommend

    This was our second time in Haven. The short rib was out of this world good, so was the wine, and the bread board. Our server was really friendly and had some great recommandations for us. She was also very attentive, we never had to wait or look around to get attention. We love the ambience, the decoration, and everything else about this restaurant. Luckily we live pretty close by and this is our new to go place.

    My girlfriend and I tried Haven, a farm to table restaurant near the Quail Gardens in Encinitas. First impression, a very cool site. Surrounded by new homes in Parkland and kids playing and gardens and a brewery. It's a cool spot to hang out. I can imagine that happy hour is a blast there. Now as for the restaurant - I have mixed feelings. The interior is upscale and cool and certainly Instagram worthy if that's your thing. The food was...underwhelming. I ordered the halibut and sent it back because it was overcooked. Hard as a brick. The replacement came 10 minutes later and was arguably better but still less than I expected. My girlfriend ordered the short rib and before she could eat at the car, an inch thick piece of fat off of it. Given the pricing and the hype around this new place, I think this one's a one and done for me. Sidenote, although I sent back my halibut and received the replacement, they comped the meal off the bill, which is a nice touch. Kudos to the waiter.

    We went for brunch on Saturday and noticed that the restaurant was empty. Only a few seats taken on a lovely Saturday which seemed odd for a new place with a big following. There weren’t a lot of options on the menu, just a few dishes to choose from so not a great spot if you’re looking for variety. I wanted the eggs benedict but I don’t eat pork so i asked if there was anything else they could substitute the ham for (I would have gladly accepted avocado, tomato, turkey sausage etc). The server came back and said they could sub bacon for the ham but nothing else— I’m not sure she realized bacon is also pork. So we landed on the frittata. It came out overcooked (spongy, brown crusty over baked eggs), zero flavor, no herbs/seasoning and almost inedible. There was supposed to be Brie in the dish but we couldn’t taste any Brie. Further aggravating is each frittata was around $25, yikes. No sides, no meat, no avocado, no cheese. Just overcooked eggs and some unseasoned root vegetables. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but that dining experience was very expensive and very bad.

    The service right from the start was outstanding. The hostess greeted us warmly and we were seated right away. The table was cozy, the ambiance lively and our server Luca was obviously well versed in the menu, pleasant and very helpful. Our meals were excellent as well. We tasted through appetizers, entrees and dessert and each course was delicious. The halibut entree was expertly prepared. We recommended the restaurant to everyone we saw, from the valet staff at our hotel to the family members we were visiting. What a delightful experience, thank you!

    Service was great. Accommodating for our baby and toddler. Lovely setting, food was good a bit pricey but good. Not outstanding. I appreciated the accommodations for dietary restrictions
