Nestled in the hills of Leucadia, Fox Point Farms is home to Haven Farm + Table, a new Californian restaurant helmed by Chef de Cuisine Kelston Moore and General Manager and Wine Director Ricardo Zarate Jr. Haven features the bountiful produce of the three-acre regenerative farm located just steps away from the kitchen. Delight in innovative dishes such as the Jerk Pork Belly Mole while dining on the terrace overlooking our lush fields, or sip a cocktail designed by Phillip Laethem in the stately yet cozy dining room.

Lucas will be showcasing wine from his family winery, Lone Madrone, which has been producing top notch offerings out of Paso Robles since 1996. In addition, our farm and culinary team will be providing snacks to be enjoyed as you sip. Admission grants 5 tastings and food, and we encourage you to grab a bottle or two and enjoy the evening with us! Please feel free to come and stay anytime between 5:00PM and 8:00PM. As it was our first visit to Haven, we were very disappointed to show up for a dinner reservation only to be told it was a very limited happy hour menu only. Only two entrees and two salads. Staff was attentive abd friendly and venue is lovely. However, food was underwhelming. Burger was on the smaller side and tasteless. The sauce on the side was not flavorful either. Salad was basically a few leaves, a few radish slices, maybe 4-5 carrot slices and 4-5 half tomato pieces. Dressing was a very simple vinaigrette. The wine list also seemed limited and unfamiliar. I wanted to love this place but was disappointed. Hopefully the menu could be expanded to include some flatbreads, charcuterie or other shareables. Not sure if we are willing to give it a second try.

This was our second excellent dining experience at Haven. The food is interesting and tasty. The server was exceptional both times. Great night out.

Our experience at Haven was really excellent! Julia, our server, knew about the history of the property and helped us enjoy it. We tried a few starters plus soup and all were creative, unusual, and very fresh. Would highly recommend it.

Our second visit confirmed that this is a great addition to the Encinitas dining scene. The design of the restaurant is impressive, with lots of nice wood, soaring ceilings, and large windows. The menu is short and creative. The fish special was outstanding: a perfectly cooked piece of sea bass in a luscious sauce. Lemon tart was a light, flavorful conclusion. Zach was an attentive, engaging server. We will definitely return.

We sat at the beautiful bar and had excellent service! It’s a lovely new concept kinda of vibe…we’re definitely gonna come back.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Haven in Encinitas and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. We started with oysters, which were fresh and beautifully presented. For our mains, we had the smash burger and the Rum Braised Short Rib (GF). The short rib was incredibly tender and flavorful, served with a creamy risotto, crispy leeks, and chives. Every bite was thoughtfully composed. The burger was also juicy, satisfying, and just the right amount of indulgent. What made the experience even better was the setting. We had a lovely view of the farm, adding a serene and rustic charm to the meal. It’s the kind of place where the ambiance complements the food perfectly. Highly recommend Haven for a special occasion or a relaxed farm-to-table experience. I’ll definitely be back!
