I had the Pollo Havana 1957. That was simply amazing. I highly recommend it.

The food was ok. Not as good Miami. We had 6 instances where someone stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. One person came 3 times!! It was a little overkill. The pace at which we were served was also too fast. Our entire meal from sit down to leaving was 35 minutes. It was just shocking how quick it all was and we felt a bit rushed.

The restaurant had an energetic vibe. Our server was very nice. Unfortunately my husbands skirt steak was incredibly salty. I had the Cuban Sampler platter. Most of it was very tastey (the gravy for the chicken - also very salty.) While the overall meal was pretty good - I can't say we will go back. I am glad I gave it a try though.

The manager was incredibly polite and attentive to our party. The food was fine, but a bit on the expensive side. Wished they could have substituted one of the items on their Orquesta platter.

Our servers were excellent and very attentive. The food was pretty good, a bit pricey, but no complaints about the taste. Mojitos were tasty as well but on the expensive side. Only detractor was this woman who interrupted our meal to take photos and then hock them while our family was trying to enjoy our food. Really took away from our dinner. This is incredibly tacky and has no place in any quality restaurant. She actually moved our plates out of the way so she could put 4 framed photos of us on our table. Pretty classless and says a lot about the management/establishment for allowing this practice. Too bad because we were having a nice evening before that.

I was teetering between 3 and 4 stars but decided to go with 4, and here's why. While the atmosphere is vibrant with an amazing live musical performance, it can be a bit too loud. We found ourselves pausing our conversations from time-to-time (or when we tried to speak to our server), because we couldn't hear each other over the music. We had the rope vieja empanadas, tropical ceviche, and fried yucca appetizers which were all good. For dinner (which I tried a bite of everyone's dishes), we had the Pollo Havana 1957 (chicken was tender and moist, although nothing to write home about), crispy pork (the tastiest dish of the 4 entrees we ordered), center-cut ribeye (tasty but not on the level of other places on The Strip for the price), and then finally the Pineapple-Glazed Lobster tails (this was what I ordered and quite frankly I was let down). Regarding the lobster tails, you didn't really get the pineapple flavoring over the sauce it came in which was pretty salty. The lobsters themselves were overcooked and shriveled up by the time I got them. One was smaller than a jumbo prawn and the other was slightly larger. While our server was very nice and attentive, when I told her this, all she did was tell me that this is a very popular dish and the lobsters are usually plump. She later came back to say she informed the kitchen. I didn't complain to get my meal comped (which it wasn't) but was upset that that's what I got for $70! Another downside was that my New Fashioned (a twist on an Old Fashioned was served with regular ice which watered down my drink quickly - the server also agreed with me when I mentioned that they should use a single large piece of ice). I'd give this place another shot but I'm not rushing back any time soon.

Food was overpriced. A small Caesar salad cost $19. Having eaten at many Cuban restaurants, the food was ok compared to those restaurants.
