   Some of the small plates were amongst the best things I’ve eaten. The XO toast and the ceviche were standouts. Our mains were nice but less memorable. Go big on the small plates.

   Our second visit to Hausu. Loved it the first time, invited friends this second time. Not quite as good as the first time, mainly because we chose to order one of the sharing steaks. For some reason - and this seemed common to all diners - the steak took over an hour to arrive. Which was odd, because it was served very rare, so wouldn't have needed so much cooking time. And the upstairs dining area was closed, so the place wasn't at full capacity. One of our party had already had their main, on their own, long before our steak arrived. Of course, the food was good - just poorly timed, for no apparent reason. Front of house very friendly, though having to deal with the delays (and a broken down coffee machine) as best as they could. Hoping this was just a blip, because the food is definitely worth the visit.

   Super creative menu, punchy & moreish flavours. Cocktails are excellent, service was lovely. We sat downstairs for Saturday lunch and was the perfect oasis from a bustling Rye Lane. Can't wait to come back!

   Brilliant restaurant – amazing service from start to finish. Our server was super attentive, always making sure we were looked after and talked us through the menu really well. Every dish, from starters to dessert, was consistently top-tier – not something you get often. The steak was genuinely one of the best I’ve had, and the wine selection was spot on. Highly recommend for a relaxed date night spot with proper quality food.

   Hausu was incredible. One of the best meals I’ve had in London. I took my parents and they said they felt like they were eating at a Michelin star restaurant. The food was so interesting and tasty and the wine was also amazing. Thank you so much to the servers too as they were very knowledgeable and nice. I’d definitely go back

    Lovely ambience and setting but the rest doesn’t live up to expectation. Food lacking flavour or out of balance, wine by the glass inadequate small measures (just order a bottle), overpriced for what it offers. Won’t return there’s plenty of better options in Peckham/Camberwell area for eating.
