Hausu is a restaurant and bar in the heart of Peckham, bringing an appreciation for taste and sound together with the creative spirit of South East London.

We serve our own brand of flavours against the backdrop of a vintage hi-fidelity sound system, with the belief that music and food can bring people together.

Please note: bookings after 10pm are for drinks only

    Amazing food and atmosphere. But reflecting other reviews, everything takes ages. It kinda ruins the mood when there’s a 25 minute wait between two small starters and glasses of wine sit on the counter 4-5 minutes before being served, for some reason. There are way too many nice wine bars in London to have to put up with that (again).

    Best food I have ever tasted! Staff were so polite and helpful. And to top it off it was a great experience to sit on the counter to watch the chefs at work.

    Interesting menu in a beautiful building with very friendly and chatty waiting staff - even when rushed off their feet. Thinking about when I can come back already!

    Went for my birthday dinner and it was a fantastic experience. Beautiful restaurant, amazing food and cocktails and lovely friendly service. Some of our highlights were the cabbage skewers, the cucumber with cod roe (which was blitzed into the silkiest taramasalata I've ever eaten) and the espresso hazelnut choux bun, which has immediately become one of my favourite desserts of all time. As pescaterians we were especially impressed with the effort and care the restaurant put into its vegetable dishes. All round an amazing experience and would highly recommend for a special meal!
