Wasn’t worth the hype. And a little over priced. $45 tab for 1 order of French toast, 3 scrambled eggs and s’mores drink.
Not the best experience this time around. Food was ok service was subpar
Me and my wife celebrated my birthday breakfast here ohhhhhh my gosh fistttttt I tried to get a reservation but the wrong place and the wrong day 😩 I went to linQ Has go go I talked to them ….they help me a lot that’s why fist thank you so much for your hostesses and our server .Fooood was amazing this was such a great birthday breakfast guys Thank you so much again 🥰😍🧿🙏
For all the hype around this place- it was just okay. Their famous Bloody Mary was a let down- while their BLT Blood Mary was more impressive. The staff was hard to communicate with. We asked several questions and they struggled to understand/ answer them as English didn't appear to be their first language. Will be back to this restaurant - in Vegas no- we usually only try restaurants one time there because there are so many.
ALWAYS MAKE RESERVATION!! Everyone always walks up if they are staying at the hotel OR at the nearby Convention Center, so make a reservation and beat any crowd. You can easily walk up and through to the seven stars rewards line (middle) and get seated. They just will ask for proof of your reservation. Open your Open Table app to show and get seated immediately!
LOCATION AT RIO only open on Saturdays & Sundays for now and they do get busy if there's something happening at the Convention Center.
IF BUSY, be patient. The waiters & waitresses are doing their best to get your drinks & food to you, AND it's definitely worth the wait.
The person handling the drinks arrived at the table first to get your drink order and delivers right away. Ours was RAUL. He was courteous & efficient. The waitress we had was fabulous, her name was Sandra, she was very outgoing, sweet & professional. She knows the menu, make sure you ask questions if you have any.
Our food was great. I had the French Toast w/Bananas. VIP NOTE: This location serves the banana PEELS (two peels grilled) with the bananas on top of the french toast. I would suggest taking it off before eating lol. After removing the peels, the French Toast was perfect as well as sweet & savory. The French Toast came with a side of bacon (don't know if that was a mistake) but I also ordered a side of bacon, yes, two "sides" of bacon showed up (yay). We asked about it, and she said to just keep our bacon, we weren't charged extra. BTW, the bacon was soooo perfect and was cooked to perfection.
Lastly, the SMORES LATTE was SOOOOO GOOD! You gotta try it.
My daughter had the bacon waffle which never disappoints. Very fluffy, yet crunchy, great tasting (her words).
Overall, great experience, will be back and will definitely refer friends to this location. Loved it!
This particular location is not very nice: the menu is by far much smaller than the others, the restaurant is not very nice, several of our dishes were dirty. Our food was good , chicken and waffles were excellent except that the chicken batter fell off very easy. I won’t go back to this particular location at RIO.
Food was not that good. Service was bad…took forever to get our food. Food was way overpriced.
When you go to the casinos, you cannot always count on great service in the restaurants. The wait staff is so busy. The staff at hash house a gogo in the Rio resorts was fantastic. They kept our coffee cups full and checked on us at a nice pace.
Portions are huge the second day in some of the shared dishes
Great job hash house a gogo
Amazing food! The biscuits are fluffy and yummy! Mimosas are tasty. Service is great despite busy breakfast rush hours. 100% will visit every time in Vegas for breakfast.
We had a reservation since we had a large party, we had to still wait once we arrived. Our food came out cold, and one person in our party didn’t get her food until I had to go find someone to ask them where it was because our server was nowhere to be found. By the time her food came, everyone else was done eating. Then, they didn’t even comp her meal. The server then came over and told her he apologized but he got it straightened out with her food, which no he didn’t, I had to go asking for it and the manager went to the kitchen and got it, we could see everything. Terrible service and the food was definitely not What I had expected from previous reviews.
I think all of the Hash Houses are great. This one is very similar to all of the other casino Hash Houses, but this one definitely had a smaller menu. Still delicious food & very large portions.
The food was good and so was the service. This was our first visit to the Rio Hotel and Casino location.
Very limited menu- food okay but price was outrageous for breakfast
I had heard a lot about this restaurant from friends and been told the food was delish, and it was! I was a bit frustrated with customer service. We had a reservation and when we arrived we were told we couldn’t be seated….. despite many tables turning over right as we got there….. for 15-20 minutes or longer due to the kitchen being backed up. I understand that with covid, staff is limited and wait times can be longer than expected, but the lady running the hostess station appeared overwhelmed and was very rude about it. When we asked why we couldn’t be seated and enjoy coffee and water until the wait staff could take our order she said she couldn’t do it and we just had to wait. There were about 6 other tables who had made reservations on open table who were waiting with us. All of us felt frustrated in her interactions with us and the fact that the decisions being made didn’t make a whole lot of sense. It would seem they were just creating another major back log on the kitchen by seating a whole bunch of tables all at once when “the kitchen got caught up”. We waited about 20 minutes before being seated. Once seated our waitress was pleasant and orders were taken and served fairly quickly. We orders chicken and waffles and an avocado scramble. She didn’t check in much, but was very busy with tables otherwise. The food was very good, although the menu is a smaller menu than the normal one shown on the Open Table App. Our checkout process was more of the craziness that happened when we checked in. The hostess was also helping with the register between seating tables. She was just as impatient and the other lady running the register was struggling with a large party that had not asked to have checks split. I can see why she was likely frustrated. Again, I forgive some of the issues that occurred because if short staffing, but I do feel the customer service by front hostess and cashier staff could have been markedly better. I would definitely go back for the food!
We would have given the kitchen a standing ovation if they’d come out to the dining room. It’s hard to make American breakfast selections unique, but these folks nail it. Portions are perfect fuel for a big day of walking, and the service is charming, fast, and friendly.
Waiter took a long time to refill our coffee and we asked for a plate and never brought it.
Amazing staff, food and calm atmosphere
Place was fire the waiter we had was the best
Everything was great from the food to our service. Thank you!
For all the hype this place gets.. the food was just ok. I got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were doughy, the bacon inside the waffles had a strange taste, and the chicken was under seasoned.
We made a reservation on the open table app. They refused to acknowledge our reservation and told us to stand in line. This was also while other people were walking in the exit and seating themselves. We were told the restaurant doesn’t take reservations, “that’s just open table.” Our food was cold and not great. Won’t be back.
This restaurant is closed! OpenTable had this active and open and I was able to make reservations but only to find out after a hectic drive and a long walk from the parking garage that this restaurant is closed indefinitely. Very poor or no update from OpenTable at all.
Had a great time.
They dont honor open table reservation
Hash House did not disappoint! The food was just what we needed after a long night out! The server was attentive and energetic. The ambiance was louder, lots of families enjoying a breakfast in Vegas. Only complaint that I have, is that I did book a reservation, however, they did not honor that when we arrived. By the sound of it, it seemed that others had the same issue. Nonetheless, we did not wait for longer than 30 minutes to get a table. Completely worth the wait and we will be going there again!
We were seated rather quickly with our 9:45am reservation. By the time we finished, there was a significant line to dine in. The service was fast and the portions were so large, my husband and I shared the chicken and waffle dish and were satisfied. Worth checking out if in Vegas
Very limited varieties on menu. We ordered medium for our steaks bit they were over cooked. They put the wrong order on our table. Food quality is very disappointing.
I really expected it to be better with all the rave reviews but overall it is just hangover food. The staff are great but the prices are standard Vegas tourist prices for basic food.
It was ok, not a lot of choices on the menu, I understand it’s the pandemic, but could have a better selection on the menu! Especially being inside a Casino!
We had a group of 10 which we had to break up due to Covid. This was no big deal, but the person seating us, I think she was the manager was not very nice about it. The food was mediocre and despite what I've heard from others, the portions were not that big. 3 of us at my table had the same meal, listed on the menu for the price of $13.99, which I already thought was overpriced for 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, breakfast potatoes and some bread or a biscuit. However when we got the check, we all got charged $15.99. I told the woman at the front and she had to get the manager, who was the same woman that seated us. She said she printed out the wrong menus and that the meal was really supposed to cost the $15.99, but that should would honor the price on the menu. Side note, the potatoes tasted like they were frozen and heated up. This was definitely not a pleasant experience, and I found it to be pretty overpriced for breakfast.
I was there Saturday, January 2nd, our waitress was great and the ambience was great as well BUT that's where the positivity ends, the food was overpriced and although I was satisfied with their eggs and bacon, the rest was poor plus the lady at the front gave the wrong menus, so what was already pretty expensive on the menu ($13.99) turned out to be $15.99. $13.99 for that breakfast is too expensive for that quality, although to the manager's credit, she charged me the $13.99 price. And a $5 drink? My total came to over $20 for a not big enough meal. It's an off strip casino, I'd understand if this was a higher class restaurant on the strip. I'm someone who likes to bring home food that I don't eat but I didn't bother asking for a to go bag.
I did not appreciate that I made a 12noon reservation, and we got there early (they should be thankful for that) and the manager talks about how she has many reservations coming in, and we need to hurry up to be seated. WE'RE EARLY!!!, if we were late, I'd understand but it is not my problem about you and your reservations. It's not like we're saying "sit us now".
Overall, my advice is to give yourselves a round of applause at how bad you are. And you should be ashamed of yourselves. Your reviews are NOT GOOD, even a five star reviews (which must be an accident) says about bad food. I'm definitely not going back.
Absolutely horrible. Menu has about 6 items on it and our waitress was extremely rude.
Feels like a cafeteria. Staff was amazing
We had reservations at 2:00 PM, arrived at 2:06 PM and was told they were already closed for the day by manager. Horrible service!!!!
A love ones birthday
It didn’t quite live up to the hype.
Limited menu due to COVID but is awesome as always! Love this place!
HUGE portions of food. I eat with my eyes first so I can’t order just one thing from the menu lol. I had the old school hot chocolate. Your basic hot chocolate but also huge! Nicely presented. And for my entree(s) I had the hash house cobb(again, HUGE) but good. And the chicken Benedict. REALLY big biscuits so I just ate the chicken. It had some sort of sauce on it, on top of mash potatoes which I didn’t eat. The ambiance is like sitting in a diner inside a hotel lobby. Overall a good experience.
Food is horrible, drip coffee $5 and it tastes like crap.
Place has great reviews but, I’ll never go back
Good food. Large portions. One plate is enough for two people
