   Very nice restaurant, but noisy at the back where part of the floor is tiled.

   It’s always nice to be there the staff knows your face. Food is always well cooked just how we like it. It’s children friendly which is always a big bonus. Great management Hugh. Keep up the fantastic work.

   The Royal was refurbished approx 2 years ago. I reserved a table and was happy where the table was. Menu had changed since my last visit and I had the fillet steak which was very tasty. Our waitress was very attentive and allowed me to check my steak had been cooked how I had ordered before she left the table. The other 2 orders were also cooked and presented well. All in all a very pleasant experience and I had 20% off my total bill with my AA membership discount. Would definitely go there again.

   Went there on Christmas Eve with family. Was very happy with everything. Always like the food at The Royal.

   The restaurant was friendly and very well set out. The food and drink were great. The only problem was the OpenTable booking did not appear on their system, however they found a table for us although we had only an hour before we had to leave it. However the waitress service could not be faulted, very friendly and courteous.

   Good food, service is a little slow but the staff are great. Portion sizes Could be larger.
