Contemporary American
Welcome to Harvest Table, a wine country kitchen featuring menus that highlight locally sourced ingredients and the best of the Napa Valley. An airy space flanked by alfresco dining terraces, Harvest Table offers a welcoming atmosphere for relaxed Wine Country dining. A 12-seat U-shaped bar fronts the 110-seat restaurant, where smooth wood finishes are offset by the classic brickwork of an oversized fireplace under the glow of abundant natural light. Taking inspiration from its juxtaposition of organic and man-made landscaping, Harvest Table is an honest and refined restaurant, ideal for St. Helena gatherings.
Harvest Table serves one menu nightly. Everyone gets to share and partake in the dining experience. These menus change every 7 to 14 days. While we will happily accommodate for allergies, we can only do this if you call ahead.

Excellent food and service! The steak and salmon were very good. Hamburger is okay but pricey. Soup of the day is squash cream a little bit too salty. Overall good food and service for the nice environment and reasonable price.

Don’t be fooled by the photos, this place is similar to Dennys attached to a hotel. We both got the price fixed menu, but soup and salad was inedible. Salad had too much raw vinegar without mixing. Soup had such a weird taste. The fish was not seasoned. The steak was okay, but not for a 60 dollar menu. I can get the same steak at Dennys, but will be much better. Save your money and go to another establishment.

Excellent service and food. The menu is fixed but every course is great. The steak and dessert are my favorite.

Overcooked and way too salty. fish for my wife. My steak was ok. Salad was pretty good. Was really disappointed because we had heard good things. They ended up not charging us for the fish as my wife could not eat it

We were expecting a farm-to-table experience with freshly made foods at a unique place in Napa Valley. Instead, this is your standard fixed-price menu, plain restaurant attached to a hotel where a noisy party was going on. The wait staff were helpful and very attentive, but the food was bland and uninspiring and the ambience was severely lacking. Very disappointing.

Steak was over cooked. Sat outside, where it was cold, because no indoor tables were offered for reservations, despite the indoor restaurant being uninhabited. Heaters outdoors were not running. Steak ordered med rare was served med well and tough.

The staff, service and atmosphere were awesome. The food and wine pairing were not what we expected… we have had far better cuisine for a much more affordable price.

NOTE: this is a fixed menu for dinner so make sure you like the menu before you go. The food is good - the salad was awesome, the dessert amazing. There were three options for a main course - one is vegetarian, I had the halibut - wonderful - my husband had the steak - average. The value is outstanding for the price. All that said, we were staying at the Harvest Inn and appreciated the short walk to/from dinner which made this a great experience.

The Harvest Table: Our expectations were not met whatsoever compared to what the Harvest Table used to be and provide. We had dinner and breakfast at the Harvest Table during our 3 night stay. For dinner, the fixed menu was $60 per person and $22 for wine pairing. As I will explain in detail following this statement, dinner was a HUGE disappointment considering we paid over $450 with tip after additions. Overall, it seemed as though the food was based on whatever was being served at the wedding on site that night. We were the 'leftovers'. Overall, the food was not fresh and of poor quality. To start, the soup was cold. We actually googled to see if that type of soup was supposed to be served cold. It wasn't. The salad was just greens with a few toppings with some vinaigrette. Nothing special. For the main course, the halibut was served with a sauce that masked the 'fishy' and not fresh taste. The steak was not a good cut and was served medium with fat around the edges. Not palatable. Potatoes and veggies included with both dishes were cold and hard. Applebee's could have provided better, which says a lot. The wine that was served seemed as though it had been sitting in a bottle and oxidized past its prime. I had to turn it away and ask for a new bottle of something comparable to be opened. How does this happen in NAPA!? Our waiter was the only thing that made us provide a tip. He was so sweet and nice and it seemed as though he had no say in any of the food or wine. He simply served what he was given by the kitchen and bar.

Breakfast- We ate breakfast at the harvest table after our second night. Our expectations after dealing with the shortcomings of the hotel overall were extremely low, so we left ample time. However, everything took 2 x as long as it should have and was comparable to Denny's.
Awful.

How is The Harvest Inn still considered a 5 star hotel that will go above and beyond for it's customers

Disappointing. Overcooked halibut. Mediocre cut of pork .lukewarm soup. Salad missing an advertised ingredient .seated viewing a whited out window back lit with fluorescent light with a purse or brief case leaning leaning against it - did not make for a serene evening . Tables are too close together in the outdoor space - heard every word of the conversation behind me. Lack of attention to detail . Waiter initially showed up with the wrong wine .Sorry I chose this for an important evening over several other wonderful options . Staff was very nice I’ll give them that.

It was fine...surprised the menu was brunch...at 1:00. The special soup was outstanding. I had the steak and frits(no sauce lots of fries) ...husband had the salmon, was good, others had the egg dishes and avocado toast. sat on the porch. Got to say the service was great, and we were out of there in 40 minutes because we told our server we needed to leave in an hour and half. He said no problem, I can make it happen.

My husband and I stayed at The Harvest Inn 2 years ago and were so excited to return! Unfortunately, we both were a bit disappointed with our recent stay. Our first visit we loved the Harvest Table so much that we ate there two nights in a row. This time around, we were surprised to see the fixed menu. Not much variety

Third time here, first time disappointed. Service was way off. First had to ask for a wine list (in Napa!) then our server did not seem to know the wines, then an order was wrong. Server poured tap water on top of sparkling water. Not great.

Been there a few times definitely the worse time. Service well not very good never brought us menus, uncorked our wines but never came an poured. Food was over salted and marginal. I understand the issue with finding staff but there were plenty of people not sure they knew what to do.

Food is really bad. We tried all the dishes, vegetarian, fish and pork chops. Uncooked food. Salad had no dressing. Quantity was so less, we all had to eat food outside after a full course dinner.

Very mediocre food. Wait staff very pleasant. Vacuous atmosphere. Did not have wines on wine list.
Mushroom “tartine” was very small piece of toast with mushrooms on top. It was tasty. We asked for 2 more which we got and we were charged $30 extra for those.

We have previously been to Harvest Table and enjoyed it. This night the food was just mediocre and less food was served. The kitchen was very slow in delivering our food. They have changed their way they deliver food from a family style to individual portions.

The service was impeccable and the location in Napa is nice. However, the food was disappointing for a Michelin Guide restaurant. We had the flat iron steak, halibut and the Wagyu burger among us. Only the halibut was passable. The flat iron steak was unbelievably tiny and not tasty at all. Overall quite disappointing.

Honestly….about the strangest dining experience we’ve ever had. Everything, with the exception of the food, was just off. We weren’t greeted for drinks etc… for a very long time. Then it was fast & furious to get our order. The menu that was sent to us in advance was not the menu that they offered. They were adamant that there was no additional bread to be had (even though they served a tartine). When they finally got the “ok” from the chef to allow us to have some extra bread they brought us 2 tiny pieces . They wine list was over priced . It was all just very discombobulated .

This restaurant is on the grounds of The Harvest Inn. We sat outside on a pretty, atmospheric terrace. The appetizers and entrees each consisted of two dishes that were served sharing style. The dessert was served individually. Everything was attractively presented and tasty. While not huge portions, it was just enough to leave us full at the end. It was an elegant, upscale meal. We had the Priority Wine Pass, which saved us $30 so it was a good value.
