Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar – Glen Mills
Delicious meal start to finish and high class environment
Food took forever to get. Drinks took a while as well. My husband ordered a steak salad and ask his steak to be cooked medium well and it came out so over cooked, tough and cold, he said it was like beef jerky. I ordered the sea bass and it was cooked just right. We would normally had sent the steak back but we had somewhere else to be and couldn’t wait. Service was not as good as it normally is. I hope this was just a fluke visit tonight.
Flatbread app was great! Entrees both vegetarian meal were well cooked but a little under seasoned.
Love the food and the service was great. Just a bit loud but we sat at a both which really helped.
Great restaurant farm to table and great choices for low-calorie dinner. We had an excellent timeIn the ambience was awesome great food and great wine
Nice early dinner, split the pear and blue cheese flatbread with fig spread, very tasty blend of flavors. Had the chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese, side salad. Very good, wife had the cuban black bean bowl with rice and short rib, which she liked but didn’t love. Topped it off with 2 nice small desserts.
Short rib mushroom flat bread was EXCELLENT!!!! They make a very good margarita also.
Food and service was excellent! Keep up the good work!
Everytime we come to Harvest the food is outstanding. Our service this time was also outstanding although it is always very good. We have eaten here more times than I can count and keep coming back.
My family and I was always enjoyed Harvest until the last 2 times we dined there. The first time was a few months back when my husband never received his dinner. After receiving mine my husband told me to eat so it didn't get cold. After trying to get our waiters attention we were told sorry they forget it, but offered to order it again. By this time I was finished and my husband was frustrated.
This last time was just the other night when why son in law had a 2 inch piece of metal in his appetizer. We told the waitress and she was very apologetic. The cook even came out and apologized. I know things happen, two consecutive times of being unhappy I think we will not be back for a while.
Very good service. Great cocktails. Consistently good food.
Didn’t like where we were seated, a booth right next to where the waiters/waitresses gather. Trays kept hitting the back of the booth.
Waitress was so-so.
As always Harvest staff and chefs pay close attention to my food allergies, making my dining experience very pleasant and safe. Thank you again!
Winter salad was awesome! Food came out at the same time as the salad. We asked that that they hold it. I think it was on the heat element too long. Disappointing because it wS good.
Long wait for a table.
We had to wait over half an hour after the time of our reservation. There was no apology or the offer of a complimentary drink. The waiting area was crowded, and we got a winter blast every time the door opened. The host was rude and unwelcoming.
Food was fine but it took a long time to arrive.
The menu is interesting but almost everything contains high amount of sugar which makes it out of a reach for a diabetic.
I usually like the food here, but the “fried rice” that I had (first time ordering this item) was extremely salty. As far as the service, we accidentally spilled a glass of wine, and servers passed us by without helping, and when we finally did get help, they did not offer a new glass, and charged us for another wine.
Very loud environment, but wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about menu. Food was okay, lacked seasoning but was cooked to perfection.
Dinner was AWESOME tonight as always!! Our waitress, Natalia, was sweet and friendly as always!! For drinks, I had soda, and Mom and Dad had water. For appetizers, all three of us had the Butternut Squash Soup with honey and pumpkin seeds on the side. Mom had hers plain. We also had the Grilled Chicken and Apple Flatbread, which had chicken, smoked bacon, crispy Brussels sprout leaves, an apple cider reduction, apples, and smoked cheddar cheese. It's always our favorite! For the main course, Mom had the Cider-Brined Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop, with turmeric-spiced spaetzle, smoked bacon, brown butter, cider reduction, and a citrus cashew gremolata. She got hers without the Brussels sprouts. She liked it. Dad ordered the Sesame Chicken, which had chicken, bell peppers, sweet onions, kale, snow peas, ginger tamari, toasted sesame seeds, and a pea tendrill. He substituted Ginger Soy Soba Noodles for the Organic Cilantro-Lime Rice, and had extra noddles on the side. He really enjoyed it! I had the Grass-Fed Beef Burger with mild cheddar cheese, bibb lettuce, an heirloom tomato, and caramelized onions served on a fresh poppy seed onion roll with a pickle. I also ordered a side of the Award-winning Mac and cheese, my favorite! For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse with no salt. Steve, Chef Dylan, Lauren, Greg, Alyssa, and Blake all came by to our table to see how our food was and say hello. We got their a little late because Mom had an accident, but it all worked out! Thanks again for another great meal Harvest family! See you soon!!
Great and fresh
Delicious as always! Will be sad to see the winter menu go - especially the squash and root vegetables!
So pleased with the entire night of great food and service. Can’t wait to r eturn
We had an enjoyable evening at Harvest Grill in Glen Mills on Wed Feb 26. Our server, Andrea, was accommodating and knowledgeable. She made excellent suggestions for wine (Black Stallion Cabernet), beer (Troeg) and side dish (Brussel Sprouts au gratin). Good value. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Eclectic menu; Delta wave music; drinks were high priced. Portions were ample. Service was spotty...server was very attentive at first but disappeared after taking our order. Polite staff, nice ambiance.
First time for brunch. Delicious! Thank you very much!
Special was good but pricey. Charged me for a whole side of mac and cheese when I asked to substitute it.
Service and food outstanding ., definitely going back soon
Not as good as usual. We ordered a couple of bourbon drinks. Definitely not worth the price. Cauliflower wings were just ok. My veggie fried rice was excellent. And my husband always likes the bison burger.
We had really good service this visit and a single check by a manager, which is appropriate. We really like the cauliflower wings but they weren’t as good this time and had very little sauce. But everything else was pretty good.
There was only one person on the front desk when we came in and she was struggling to handle the phone and people arriving. She seemed grumpy, which started things off poorly but things improved!
Always enjoy myself at Harvest!
While the service was exceptional and the food was delicious, I feel that I did not get my money’s worth. My wife had a $15 hamburger and I had an $18 salad. My salad was literally a piece of salmon and arugula lettuce. The salmon was cooked to perfection, but the rest of the presentation was minimal. My wife’s burger was also outstanding (her words), but the fries and gluten free role were extra. I was disappointed to spend $53 for a burger and fries, salad with salmon, and water. Beautiful restaurant, so I guess you’re paying for the ambience and taste. I went home and had a snack.
Dinner at Harvest tonight was AWESOME, as always! Blake and Alyssa, our favorite servers, were great!! For drinks, Mom and I had water, and Dad had hot tea with honey and lemon. For appetizers, we ordered our favorite, the Butternut Squash Soup, with honey and pumpkin seeds on the side for Dad and me. Mom had hers plain. For the main course, all three of us got the Sesame Chicken without the Organic Cilantro-Lime Rice. It had bell peppers, sweet onions, kale, snow peas, ginger tamari, toasted sesame seeds, and a pea tendrill. We substituted ginger soy soba noodles for the rice. It was yummy!! For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse with no salt, my favorite! Steve, who is the general manager, and Chef Dylan all came by to say hello and to see how our food was. Thanks for another great meal Harvest family! See you soon! The Winter Menu lasts until March, so order your favorites before they are all gone!
Pricey, but perfect for Valentine's Day with my fiance! Our waitress was amazing!
We had horrible seats we were right next to the wait station. The fast walking back and forth and the dish clanging was bad enough but then they took
Out the trash which smelled horrible and ruined the dinner
Ask for a booth for extra comfort away from the open kitchen area to reduce the noise level. The bar area is a nice alternative to dining room seating. Great seasonal menu, good wine selection and good mixologists.
We once again celebrated our anniversary at Harvest, our favorite restaurant! We have always had excellent service, but this time was exceptional and the best yet. Our servers, Angelina and Samaya, were friendly and efficient, and this was the first time we received a complimentary anniversary dessert. The food was excellent. My husband was going on about the freshness of the salad and loved the vegetarian Chili. I rarely clean my plate, but I had no problem doing so with the scallops. All excellent! Thank you
When looking for a nice restaurant that would be open later than 9:00pm and found Harvest! Valentine’s Day date night and reviews looked extremely positive. Put in a reservation through open table and was seated at a nice booth and given our menus. It took about 10-15 minutes for us to be given our drinks. There must have been some confusion with who was supposed to weigh on our table. The food from the Valentine’s Day menu was delicious and service aside from the confusion was great.
It was average. The first few years were better, but now it’s not as good. Both my fish and my husband’s steak were overcooked.
