    My family and I had dinner at the Harvest Restaurant to experience the filming scenes of Dirty Dancing. We also ate pizza at the Salt Pond Pub,that was very yummy! We also went out of the lodge to eat. Rivera Mexican Grill, Bluegrass BBQ, and Scoops Arcade for icecream!

    I reserved a dinner for us. We were welcomed on arrival, seated at a nice table and our waitress, Jasmine, was wonderful. Our meals were hot, attractive in presentation and very tasty…. She made us feel very welcome, had a lot of conversation between us and we left with a happy fulfilled feeling.

    We loved our whole experience at Harvest . We ate dinner and breakfast there and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was amazing and both our waiters were so attentive and nice. The dinner food was so tasty and the prices were very reasonable. The breakfast buffet on Sat was amazing! There were eight of us and we all had a great experience.

    Wonderful lunch on the outside deck. Food was delicious and service was friendly and prompt. Would recommend the drive up the mountain for this spot. Views are great too.

    It was ok. A rather fast service. Too fast for relaxed dining. Food choice was minimal. Child’s meal was precooked and refried. Very hard chicken tenders! Just mediocre. Friendly staff.

    The food and service were excellent, especially Sarah in the tavern and Danielle at breakfast in the Harvest. Enjoyed the pool area and hot tub. We survived the loop trail and wished we had been here when there was a lake.

    Overall everyone enjoyed their food, mine on the other hand was sub par. My roasted chicken was so small and dried out. Asked for the sauce on the side, didn't get... the prosciutto that was placed on top was dried out and looked under appealing...presentation horrible.

    The food was only handwarm when it came and we asked to heat it up again which was fine. But I had ordered a pasta without anything to add and it came with chicken. Also the portions were pretty small in relation to the price but the food was good. The service was also very good but overall these small things together with the high prices don't leave the best impression.

    Great venue, especially for Dirty Dancing fans! Service was excellent: polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. Locally sourced menu offerings. Venison cutlets and wild boar sausage was great, crab cakes top-notch. Had a pre-dinner drink at Salt the outside bar. Solid drinks from the bartenders and delightful conversation. Filled with Southern charm!

    My family and I came here for a Dirty Dancing weekend and the buffet was fantastic! There were plenty of options and everything we tried was delicious. The desserts were yummy too. The musicians helped make it a lovely atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back!!

    Mountain Lake lodge was amazing! Took my daughter for a weekend girls trip because we are dirty dancing fans and had breakfast and dinner at the harvest! It was a great experience all around!

    We enjoyed our food and the wait staff was attentive but casual. We sat on the terrace for dinner and it was cool and had a nice view of the mountains. My only complaint is the structure of the tables on the terrace. They have a bar across the table legs and it’s impossible to get the chairs close to the table. The chairs are large and comfortable but sitting in them to eat is a bit awkward because you can’t lean back for support and reach your food. However the food was delicious and the portions were generous.

    Our waiter was good. Took awhile for him to bring a refill on tea. He was friendly and professional. Had the Turkey melt with fries and pickle. Pickle was a nice addition. It took awhile for someone to greet and seat us. We had 11:30 reservations but it was 11:45 before we seen anyone to be seated.

    We made reservations for 6:30 on a Wednesday night, but they weren't needed! Waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Bread/butter was brought to the table. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and they were so thick, tasty and presented on a platter with spinach leaves and topped with pimento cheese, tomato jam and crispy bacon. 😋. The ribeye and blackened salmon were excellent! Would definitely go back.

    I ordered braised ribs with house salad. My spouse ordered Iron Skillet Chicken. The salad was of generous size, fresh and delicious. Glad there was French dressing. The braised rib was large enough to share. It was tender, fall of the bone delicious. Adding a side included in the price of the rib would encourage me to order again. The chicken with mash potatoes was perfectly cooked. Hard to say which was the best the chicken or the yummy potatoes. I recommend making the reservations and dining in at Harvest. The atmosphere is relaxed and makes for a leisurely enjoyable dinner.

    It was our fist time to Harvest at Mountain Lake Lodge, I am new in the area and my sisters from Texas and the Peninsula were visiting . The staff was fantastic, we had a great waiter that was very attentive and the food was delicious. Will go back for sure.
