Our restaurant, bar and private dining room celebrate the storied history of California's organic farming, brewing, and oenology. Outdoor patio seating unveils stunning Aliso Canyon and golf course views. As an homage to the original homesteaders, fresh-made food and drink are a focus throughout your dining experience, with many ingredients harvested on property. What we don't grow here is thoughtfully sourced.
Kyle St. John is the Executive Chef bringing his passion of farm-to-table cooking and fresh, locally-sourced cuisine.

The menu changes with each season, integrating fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables grown and gathered from our own half-acre Harvest Farm. The new bar is a haven of sociability, featuring an innovative handcrafted cocktail menu, enticing wine list and 18 craft beers on tap—all for sipping along with earnest conversation.

The Harvest team shares their masterfully creative and intensely local take on California coastal cuisine designed with food-lovers in mind.

We were seated at a table back by where the bathrooms are-nothing like being stuck in a corner for lunch. The waiter was not good. Didn’t bring my friend the right wine that she ordered and acted as if it was her fault ( which it wasn’t because we all listened when she ordered). Service was very slow. I asked for a side of a balsamic dressing with my salad and he literally brought me a side of balsamic vinegar. I just dealt with it at that point. Very slow service. The waiter has a little trouble with his English ( sorry but true). Other than that, the setting at the ranch is always a treat and the salad was good but just like their golf has become, it’s overpriced.

Unattnetive servers which was disappointing since it wasn’t busy at all except for a large party. Which makes sense they were getting more attention, but you should be able to figure it out or communicate with us. I had to flag them down several times to order our drinks and to get the check. Almost seemed like we are an inconvenience. They also did not recognize this nor do anything for the birthday which they confirmed initially. Pretty disappointing all around.

Our first experiene at Harvest Restaurant at The Ranch at Laguna Beach, and will definately NOT be our last. Very impressed with the food quality, the service and the general atmosphere. It's a hidden gem in Laguna Beach. The only negative, and its a big one, is the entrance from PCH is a 1/10. Seriously, it's awful. We're considering a reception here but that's the draw back. First impressions stick and it does not feel good driving up to the Ranch. We were shocked that it was nice upon arrival. In fact, we had driven in once prior, without reservations, to check out the venue and turned around at the valet, because the impression we got from driving up the entrance was soooooo bad. We're wondering if we want our guets to feel this same sense of disaapointment and underwhelm for a big event. Why can't the Ranch offer to landscape the front, I'm assuming easement (?) that leads to the Ranch?! Cyprus trees along that ugly fence, have the trucks moved to a sheltered area. That would be a game changer. Once you're at the valet, the experience is superb but it's a leap of faith.

Beautiful restaurant with nice views of the property and the lush canyon and golf course. Service was amazing and food was excellent. Highly recommend!

Very good restaurant with relaxed, SoCal vibe in a natural setting overlooking Wood Canyon. Terrific service with right balance of attention but not overbearing. Food was quite good and in age of increasingly higher menu prices, fair for the quality of ingredients. Whole fish sea bream comes butterflied, cooked just right, but I asked for lemon wedges to add the right zing. My partner had mussels which were very high quality, but coconut broth with french fries miss the mark. Dipping limp fries into coconut broth just not the same as a wine based broth with crusty bread for dipping. The atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy. Worth a visit and at least have a beverage on patio overlooking canyon and catch some live music.

Truly magical restaurant. Always feels like being on vacation. Daisy was amazing as always and my wife and I loved our meals. Such a unique place.

LOVE coming here. The food is so fresh right from their farm, the cocktails are great and the view of the canyons with the changing lights is gorgeous. Always a favorite.
