The smoky air quality was poor and getting worse outside but the waitstaff explained that the doors to the patio would be left open so they could serve those eating outside. The air inside was as unhealthful inside as outside, and we were cold while also in a noisy environment. The food was very good but we got something we didn't order due to confusion about the mark on the order page.

Restaurant was very busy. Seated on hard wooden garden style chairs which weren’t particularly comfortable. Waiting staff polite and attentive. Food came out piecemeal rather than everyone having food at the same time. My family’s dishes grew cold whilst they waited for mine to arrive. My dish was very greasy, the other member’s of our party enjoyed their food. It’s expensive for what it was. We will not be returning.

I don’t recommend this place. While their food is pretty good. service is really subpar. Besides being not attentive, they begin to talk loudly around us as we were finishing lunch almost as if we were not there. Making the atmosphere not at all relaxing

Food was mediocre--most of the dim sum tasted the same with the same filling. Service was uneven with servers tossing items at us and not saying what they were. Outdoor setting was lovely and that seems to be why they get by with less than average food. Sad.

Excellent food- fried calamari was delicious, chow mein best we have tried, Mongolian beef so tasty. Desserts were also fantastic- mango sorbet worth a return visit, sesame buns filled with yams excellent different but delicious - lychee martini very good. We will be back.

Came here for a business dinner for the view and Cantonese sharable dishes. While some of the food was great (pork buns, soup dumplings, miso cod, pecking duck) some other dishes were lacking (both lo main dishes were cold, fried rice was bland, and the cold duck wings lacked meat ). The real let down was the service. The woman was short with us and rude. There were many instances where we would have a question or additional request but she would leave immediately. Additionally we ordered another bottle of wine, we asked for an additional wine glass for one more person. She brought us a cup and left immediately. I had to go and get a wine glass from the bar. I would perhaps understand if the restaurant was extremely busy but there were plenty of tables open through the evening. For that reason I wouldn’t be back.

I was being gaslit into paying for a dish I never ordered. The server put in what she thought we wanted, but it was far from what we actually ordered. Instead of just taking the dish back, she argued that we had ordered it and said she will have to charge us anyway.

I used to love this place but this time would be the last time I would go there. The food quantity has downgraded and the service is terrible. You can hardly get your waiter to help. It was not crowed at all, but super noisy. The restaurant also added tip on your bill regardless how many people you have in your party.

The dim sum prices seemed inflated, but the flavor was fine. The table we were using was a clothed card table which felt a bit flimsy. The hostess seemed rushed so I felt ushered to the table rather than feeling welcomed to dine.

As always Harbor View never disappointed. Our outside seating on a gorgeous day made it very special. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in Chinese cuisine. Parking underground is a lifesaver.

We had dim sum and overall it was good except a couple of dishes which were very disappointing (Shoronpo and pork dumpling with orange). Shoronpo was tasteless and had only very little soup and the pork dumpling with orange was everybody's least favorite. The service was prompt and well appreciated. The biggest withdraw back was automatically added tip of 18% to the bill without our agreement. It wasn't mentioned anywhere nor we were a large group of more than 6 people. The whole bill came to $170 for the group of 3 just for Dim Sum.

Food was very good. Service bordered on rude and intransigent. We had to scramble to get anyone to serve us and then the service was abrupt and perfunctory. No idea who our server was supposed to be. All meals arrived all together. Wine list is pathetic.

Terrible service. 1) We just sat down and wanted to order a few glasses or water. One guy who worked there straight up told us he was not an employee even though he was seen running around taking orders. 2) we ordered three dishes and only two came, so we asked the server about that. The lady was like “did you order them from me?”. How helpful the response was! She thought we accused her of not doing her job properly when we really wanted to check whether the order went in. Jeez Bad service aside, the restaurant was super loud. There was a celebratory event right in the open seating area that was not closed off. So we heard every announcement. Food was good, but not great that I would forgo a decent customer service for.
