   We have come to Hanks for the last 4 years to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. This year was a bit of a struggle. When I went to the bathroom there was so much water on the counter that it soaked by dress. The waitress then splashed water on me from her tray. Our food kept being sent to the table next to us and then would go back to the kitchen, only to be brought back out to us lukewarm. Our dinner orders took forever to come out and the food was less than amazing. Dinner took so long, despite our reservations being at 5:30 that we didn’t get our daughter home till after 8 on a school night. I’m not sure we will be continuing our tradition next year.

   A great place to disappear for a while! Such a lovely ambiance that it feels like you’ve left the city for a meal. The food never disappoints but I would come just for their drinks menu! Very respectful and helpful waitress was icing on the cake, a lovely time was certainly had.

   Good food and outdoor space! Enjoyed it! Fabulous hummus and mussels.....nice salads and burger. We will be back.

   Server Matt was helpful and friendly. Didn’t feel rushed. The portions were a good size for the $. Had a pesto bowl and crispy rice bowl, both with salmon. Both were delicious. I recommend the crispy rice with salmon. It was a coldly windy day but didn’t feel it inside. Good drinks too! Orange creamsicle and Ube Mojito.

   We have enjoyed dining at Hanks for years. This time, though, the steak was overcooked and the mussels were not adequately rinsed, resulting in stones in my mouth with every bite. The appetizers were excellent and the happy hour prices on wine and cocktails is outstanding. Will go back but maybe not order steak frites or mussels again.
