    Fantastic first time experience. We ordered cocktails and the 4 hand roll option and two appetizers. All 5/5 stars. The service is also incredible here, quick, not pushy, efficient team. Recommendations: 4 hand rolls, shishito peppers.

    Was looking forward to trying a new to me spot in town. Unfortunately, I can't recommend HandoSake. The menu is very limited and I cannot say that the fish was the freshest. It was clear that the restaurant is set up to serve a high volume of customers in a lunch rush more than a dedication to good sushi. Most of the fillings in the rolls were pre-made and the chefs merely had to get rice and nori, a spoonful of filling, and wrap up the roll. No skill involved. Additionally, the rice was warm and lacked the proper texture and temperature of sushi rice. Overall, I would not recommend HandoSake.

    Had the opportunity to get in and order off the happy hour before heading to the airport. Amazing food and great prices.

    As a Takashi superfan, I'm pleased to say this is a very worthy sushi spot! Everything is super fresh, the hand roll concept is really fun and nice to deviate from just eating a bunch of heavily flavored rolls. The hand rolls are simple and fresh bites. Their Tokyo Cowboy roll was a major standout though, kind of a surf and turf with Wagyu beef seared on the outside...very inventive and nothing I had ever really tasted before. Shishito peppers and Bonito flakes were a perfect appetizer as well. 10/10 would eat here again!

    Amazing menu with all kinds of great roles fantastic spot for sushi and the service was great if you get a chance, send it one of the bars and watch them. Prepare your meal great experience.

    Delightful hand rolls and great service. Also I really enjoyed the ambiance. However, while I understand wanting to close the kitchen around 9pm, but if you're going to do that, don't accept reservations for 8:30pm. Felt a bit rushed, and we were unable to order any additional rolls, or sake, or dessert. Other than that, great place!

    We started out with the Crispy Rice appetizer which was out of this world in flavor but fell apart in the chopsticks. We then got Blue Fin and Madai sashimi and it was fresh, cut to the perfect bite size, and delicious! Next, we had Yellowtail nigiri which was good but not as good as I anticipated because usually I really love Yellowtail. Then the hand rolls we picked were Spicy Tuna and Crispy Shrimp…done in four bites and super tasty! Loved the spin they have to make their Old Fashioned unique. It was yum! My one critique would be the stools at the bar; the one I sat in was wobbly and it would be nice to have bars on the stool for feet to rest on rather than only the bar under the…bar. We’ll be back for sure! When we wanna spend $220 🤭
