We started out with the Crispy Rice appetizer which was out of this world in flavor but fell apart in the chopsticks. We then got Blue Fin and Madai sashimi and it was fresh, cut to the perfect bite size, and delicious! Next, we had Yellowtail nigiri which was good but not as good as I anticipated because usually I really love Yellowtail. Then the hand rolls we picked were Spicy Tuna and Crispy Shrimp…done in four bites and super tasty! Loved the spin they have to make their Old Fashioned unique. It was yum! My one critique would be the stools at the bar; the one I sat in was wobbly and it would be nice to have bars on the stool for feet to rest on rather than only the bar under the…bar. We’ll be back for sure! When we wanna spend $220 🤭

Has potential but skimpy portions, exorbitantly priced, $7 for a tiny shiitake handroll, $4 for miso soup that had more mushrooms than the handroll…. Wish they did handrolls that were actually unique and were more accommodating to vegans/vegetarians.

Hands down Utah’s best sushi. It’s not your traditional sushi rolls, it’s actual sushi. They specialize in hand rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Their crispy rice app, as well as the wonton tacos, rock shrimp, and gyoza are amazing! Do your taste buds a favor and make this restaurant the top of your list.

Very good sushi and service. Attractive environment although tables were very close and noise was pretty high.

Outside of the appetizers, the menu is overpriced. Pedestrian flavors, nothing unique with the flavor profile of hand rolls. Ending the dinner with a $240 bill for four, there were several other locations we could have gone to for the same quality of fish, a more interesting menu, and enjoyed more sushi. Fine staff. Clean. Simply overpriced.

They don’t serve maki rolls. Takeout only? Booked reservation months out to find out when seated. Showed them the menu online, doesn’t say takeout only. Very odd.

We were seated and forgotten about. There were 4 parties set up including mine that evening. After 30 minutes and watching food being served to a table that arrived after me, I got up and looked for someone to help me and my party. Not sure who I spoke to but definitely an employee who said they will get someone to help us. Another 10 minutes goes by and nothing. The hostess was nowhere I can find. This time I went to one of the sushi chefs. They said they would get someone. They did. Finally we were able to order. The hostess appeared around the same time our waitress came. I mentioned to the hostess that we were finally waited on but waited a really long time. I thought she should know, however she said she knew and didn’t know what happened. I would have expected her to come to my table and personally say she had become aware of our situation and was sorry. I also thought the manager should have come to our table and apologized. No visit from the manager either. The sushi chef did the right thing and came to chat with us. We ordered all the nigiri on the menu. It was all delicious!!! Hand rolls and appetizers were tasty as well. I have no complaints regarding the food. Our reservations were at 9 pm. When our order was taken we had less than 30 min till last call which I was not told included the bar. Frustrating to have my evening rushed.
