   Everything was perfect, down to the kimchi and wasabi. I’ve never had real wasabi and it tasted nothing like horseradish. It tasted floral, if not sweet. I don’t like kimchi but loved the kimchi here. I chose the Miyazaki set meal and my favorite was the filet mignon and the Miyazaki nigiri. A must try in Honolulu.

   I took my mom here for Mother's Day and she immensely enjoyed the Miyazaki & Washu course. The way the course was designed made grilling it very well-paced for eating. The explanations for how to cook it was very clear as well as the explanation of which meat is which. It was a lovely experience! Will definitely visit again.

    If you appreciate high quality meat, this is your place. The location is in a newly developed part of town, with lots to do within walking distance. Our server was very friendly, professional, and helpful with cooking instructions. Clean environment and the food was great!

    Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and had an amazing experience! Our server was very knowledgeable and was very efficient with keeping our courses coming. The food was so delicious. I didn't think I would get really full with just pieces of meat, but by the 10/11 course of the 12, I was ready to tap out. We even got a complimentary cheesecake to celebrate which was super nice of the staff. It was pricey, but definitely worth it and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves steak that just melts in your mouth and to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion.

    We ordered Miyazaki courses. Beef was delicious and oh-so tender. The servers were very friendly and helpful; open to questions, told us how long to cook each course and how to eat them. Great experience. Will be back. Yummm

    Always a stop when I’m at our home in kakaako. The Miyazaki beef courses are delicious and even cravable. It’s more like beef sushi than it is a steak house. Awesome spot.

    We were celebrating an occasion and chose the Han no Daikoro to experience their beef courses. Everything was great except the ambiance. There was a very noisy table next to us. The female of the couple was quite loud and talkative in the beginning. However midway through our courses the female became louder, vulgar, and very obnoxious during a disagreement with her partner. This went on for the remaining of the courses - 45 mins I would have wish management would have said something to them or check if we wanted to move to another table. This uncomfortable atmosphere ruin the delicious food vibe, 1st experience, and our celebratory moment. We love the food and wanted to really enjoy the experience, however we could not fully hear the waiter explanation of each dish and the grilling instructions.

    I cant believe that is a lunch menu. I got salad, little appetizer , great tasty rice and miso soup and yet such a great value Service is good as usual and you can cook the meat ( good portion too!) on your pace. It will be my favorite place for lunch Great value not to mention lunch time long board is just $5 for a huge glass and quality of the food and the service The restaurant was pretty full but for some reason ( not much alcohol in the room ??) it was farily quiet Great for older people and family to use lunch time

    This place exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend and I spent our anniversary dinner here and it was quite the experience for the 11 course meal. We were so satisfied with the quality of the meats and our server was great in explaining all dishes to us. We can't wait to come back!

    The best service I have ever had! Our server zoey was fantastic. His level of service surpassed our expectations and we were very impressed.     Great food and great service! It’s pricey but you pay for what you get and it’s absolutely worth it! Go for lunch when it’s lighter on the wallet - they have specials. If you want the full experience, dinner is a must but expect to pay anywhere from $150-200 a person to leave full (if you eat a lot like me) with no alcoholic drinks

    This was our first time coming here to celebrate a birthday and we had an phenomenal experience! Everyone is so nice and greets you as you come in. We chose the Miyazaki beef course as it offered a little bit of everything that we wanted to try. Literally every course was melt in your mouth!! Our server explained each course and how to cook each piece of beef. For some of the courses, our server cooked for us. For dessert we finished off with matcha ice cream and mascarpone ice cream. It is on the pricier side but definitely worth it. We will be back again, everything was soooo good!

    Best yakiniku I've experienced in US. Meet quality is superb. Same quality as yakiniku restaurant in Japan. Not every week restaurant because of the price, but perfect for special day. Highly recommended.

    Service was impeccable; my husband and I were helped by Ji Soo, who was very knowledgeable, attentive, and sweet. We split the Miyazaki course and the Washu course, and I'm glad we did because it we were able to taste both kinds across styles (grilled, shabu shabu, etc.) and while the Miyazaki beef is extremely delicious, it is quite rich. The kimchi here is on the sweeter side but very flavorful and a necessity to balance out the fattiness of the beef! The noise level is low and though we were grilling meat most of the time, we did not come away smelling like it. Overall, a pleasant experience and well worth the money.
