We really want to give them a five, as the night started with complementary champagne as we were celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The Service was attentive the whole evening. The bread is absolutely to die for, and both of our side dishes, the brussels sprouts and seasonal vegetables were excellent. We both ordered the Kansas City strip steak, black and blue. My husband’s came out, medium rare and mine was medium well. Our waiter apologized and had them make a new one for me. It also came out well overcooked, but had good flavor. The manager came over and apologized, and they did comp us a free dessert, which was also excellent. We would definitely give them another try, but it is sad if they advertise “black and blue” as a cooking option, they need to be able to deliver.

The service was absolutely amazing! The pork chops, lamb chops and steak was cooked to perfection!! And that twice baked potato was to die for!!! Definitely would be back !!

We visited Hamilton’s to celebrate our anniversary. The menu offered many delicious sounding options and with our server’s excellent help we were very happy with our selections. A post dinner Old Fashioned completed the steakhouse and bourbon bar experience. We look forward to visiting this establishment again.

The wait staff was excellent knowing when to give us some time but also knowing when our conversation was dying down and they could jump in seamlessly. I wish I could say the same about the food. We got the BBQ pork belly which was amazing the bread they bring out is also a great addition. The Rye-sing sun & Whiskey blues were both amazing as was the pink lemonaid. Once we got to the mains the ribeye I got about half was undercooked as rare (ordered med rare) while the other half seemed to be halfway between rare and med rare or just sat to long so the middle cooled too much, but the flavor was okay not the best steak not the worst. The Lamb Chops were also really good but undercooked again but they had about 50% fat on them showing they may have not been trimmed properly. Lastly the Mushroom steak was soggy and lackluster. The desserts were the best thing on the menu the Flourless chocolate tort, cheesecake, & bread pudding were good but a tad too sweet for us. (especially the chocolate tort) Overall the service was excellent, the vibe of the bourbon room (although slightly lacking in the bourbon theming) was great, the food was more middle of the road. Would I return? probably not with the variety of restaurants in STL.

Hamilton's is becoming our "go-to " high-end restaurant. The ambience is cool, comfortable, and maybe romantic. The service was outstanding! A special shout-out to Charles, who elevated our anniversary experience! The food was "other-worldly." My wife said to me, "Why do we go anywhere else?" She's got a valid point. We've never had a bad experience at Hamilton's. I strongly recommend it!

Everything about this trip was absolutely wonderful , including our waitress Wonder. Absolutely from our first bite of our bread, to the charcuterie board, the walleye, and then our steaks! Service was phenomenal and honestly best steak I’ve had in STL ever! Don’t miss this place!!!

This place has it all. Gorgeous atmosphere, amazing staff and excellent food. The steak was cooked to perfection, twice baked potato was delish, and the dessert was outstanding. We will be back for sure!
