    Very beautiful place with high quality food. If you’re looking for light and not too sweet desert- Frozen Milk Cake is the best. Highly recommended

    Our appetizers were delicious, we loved the bread balloon and zucchini chips. We asked to have our dinner and appetizers spaced out but it ended up being over an hour before we got entrees. Our salad was missing protein, after asking three times, we never received the shrimp. Steak and shrimp kabobs were average, rice was lacking flavor, and salad was below average. Our server was very apologetic and kind, ended up comping dessert and missing food. We just would have wished for more attentive service. But overall she was very personable, bubbly, and kind. Blueberry pavlova was perfect balance of light yet decedent, with amazing summer flavors. In conclusion, it did not live up to our hopes but we enjoyed the ambiance and family time.

    I’m Not sure of a Mediterranean menu vs Hawaiian? After all it is Hawaii ….chef’s choice ! Simply …………superior food & service !

    Worst customer service ever. Waited over 15 minutes after being seated before we caught the attention of a server. Ordered drinks and bread with dip to start. That took 45 minutes. Never got around to ordering mains, by that time we just wanted to get out of there. The food and beverage manager finally showed up, apologized, comped the food and drinks we did receive, to her credit. Unfortunate last night on the big island, but went to Kuleana Rum Shack and had a fine dinner with excellent service.

    We had an absolutely amazing time, the food and the atmosphere was impeccable. Our server was very friendly, and attentive it did take about 15 minutes before we were attended to once we sat down, but that didn’t matter much because the ambience of you were stunning. Get the ahi, get the spicy marg, get the zucchini chips. Go. Can’t wait to go again.

    Lovely aesthetic and service .. food was delicious just a tad expensive z .. cocktails all over $25 desserts the same but excellent service

    We had a delicious family dinner at Halani! The hotel setting is beautiful. They were extremely conscientious of our daughter’s gluten free requirements and our waitress immediately provided her with a very short list of dishes that they could not prepare gluten free. The prices are on the high side but well worth it for the quality of food and service and the staff’s attention to GF needs!
