   Reservation made for lunch at HaLani, which was not open, nor disclosed in the several reservation reminders. Directed by a sign to Ha Bar. My guest ordered a salad with added shrimp (3) which arrived without dressing. My $33.00 Shrimp Caesar had 3 shrimps, a half bowl of salad and “torn foccacia” replaced with grocery store type croutons. While I have dined at HaLani many times for both dinner and lunch this was a very disappointing meal.

   The setting at Halani is so lovely and our server Charlie was fantastic! We enjoyed the watermelon starter as well as the burrata, both were delicious. The burger and tacos off the bar menu were also top notch. We sampled several desserts to finish off the evening, none of which disappointed! All in all a wonderful dining experience!

   One of our favorite restaurants on the Big Island. Great staff, great food, and always a stunning sunset.

   Halani’s has the best Mediterranean food(hands down) the service is impeccable and the pricing is spot on! We highly recommend thus restaurant, we will definitely be back!

   Delicious food - mochi waffles, dessert, misoyaki salmon, lobster bacon French toast, raw oyster bar, everything was delicious!

   Menu is very hard to order from if you are not particularly fond on Greek food. Preparation was not attractive but quality of food was good. Service was way to rushed. Ordered salad and it came in under a minute. Same with main course. Felt like it was sitting in the back already plated. Also waiter was very nice but not informed. He gave us no rundown on the menu and was not able to answer questions. Also presentation was not good. My fish was swimming in oil to the point I had to ask for another plate to separate it from the oil. The most disturbing part however was the decision to eliminate the music and hula performance that we had grown to love and what drew us time and again to the restaurant. Will be awhile before we return.

    Exceptional food and a stunning atmosphere! We were blown away by the lamb chops – truly the best we've ever had. The branzino, beef kabobs, and calabrese pizza were also outstanding. The dramatic evening sunset skyline provided the perfect, unforgettable backdrop. Highly recommend!
