    We were there in the afternoon so very quiet but perfect for conversation. Food was delicious. I strongly recommend the Ropa Vieja. Delicious. Great vibe at the Irvine Spectrum location.

    We had a wonderful day at Habana in Irvine Spectrum! We went for Sunday Father's Day. We arrived at 330pm and were able to get brunch options and dinner brunch options. The food was fabulous! It’s rare to find a buffet that’s both clean and serves great food, but this place delivered on both. The service was exceptional. We sat in the outside patio area near the buffet. Adrian was a fantastic host who made us feel so welcome. He was especially helpful with our two toddlers (ages 3 and 4), which made the experience even more enjoyable. We’re definitely coming back, and next time we’re bringing our extended family! Thanks Adrian! You are the best!

    I went to Habana for the first time for the Father's day brunch. The food was delicious. They have a good amount of vegetarian options which was nice. The interior design is so pretty. I'd love to go back.

    We love coming to Habana in Irvine. However We had never been to the Sunday brunch. It is a nice Sunday brunch with lots of choices, but not worth the price for sure! I was pretty disappointed because some of the food kind of cold, plantains way over done and too crispy, and could not get even one plate of the black beans and rice for myself. I waited a long time for them to replenish, and it never came back. I did enjoy the paella, and fried bananas . The brunch price is pretty hefty price considering you get no drinks with the food. We came for Father’s Day and my mother-in-law and father-in-law barely ate one plate of food so if you go with light eaters, don’t do it.  also, it was a very hot day, and we were first seated in a very stuffy corner on the patio. So not knowing where you might be seated would also keep me from coming back for this brunch. I definitely want to go back for an for apps and drinks, or a nice dinner, but I will not be back for brunch.

    Father’s Day was really hot and had I known it was going to be that hot. I would’ve reserved a table inside. There was very little air circulation in in the patio, where we were sitting. The air was stifling and uncomfortable. The service was amazing. The food was great, but I wish they had a way of cooling down the room.

    Had an excellent experience from start to finish. Our family came for the Father's Day Brunch and we were greeted with cold beverages on this hot day. Very minimal wait time with our reservation and we were seated immediately with our dog in the patio. The food selection was very substantial and outstanding. Good variety overall. For those with food allergies, the Chef came out and gave me instruction on what foods I could eat, and if I wanted something else he would make it. The entire staff was very friendly. We ended our Father's Day with a free photo from their photo booth. Excellent experience.

    Brunch was great overall—the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The only downside was that my party got separated, which made it a bit annoying when we arrived. I would definitely return.

    Its Lively and Festive. Feels like you’ve been transported to Cuba! Loved the ambience, food, and service. I wanted to dance the whole time. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you ! Desserts are Deeelicious! Steak, oysters and apps all very tasty!

    The brunch Buffett was great. Everything tasted wonderful and there were so many selections. The service was good but not great. I had to remind the waiter about the drink he never brought me half way through our time there. We also had a hard time asking for the check as our server was no where to be found. We ended up walking up to a waiter near by because we were melting in our seats haha. The day was very hot and I just wish there was more indoor seating. Overall it was good, but pricey. Next time I will request indoor seating!

    I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. This was my second time dining with you — the first experience was wonderful, which made me excited to return. However, unfortunately, this visit left me feeling a bit disappointed. To be transparent, our party spent nearly $700 on food and an additional $150 on mimosas, so we were expecting the same great level of service we received the first time. Unfortunately, the service this time did not meet that standard. We were seated in direct sunlight, which made the experience uncomfortable — I actually ended up with a sunburn. It would have been appreciated if seating considerations were made to ensure guest comfort, especially on sunny days. Additionally, the service itself felt inattentive. Our server was not proactive with drink refills — my husband had to repeatedly request mimosa refills, and at one point was told he needed to “drink more” before it could be refilled, which felt dismissive and inappropriate given the cost of the bottomless mimosa option. For the price point and the quality of your food and atmosphere, we do expect attentive, thoughtful service. Guests spending this amount of money should not have to ask multiple times for refills or feel uncomfortable about basic requests like ice or shade. I appreciate you taking the time to listen to this feedback. I am only sharing this because I truly enjoyed my first visit and would love to continue recommending Havana Irvine — but consistency in service makes all the difference. Thank you for your attention, and I hope future visits reflect the excellent hospitality you are known for.
