Innovative prohibition-influenced cocktails, enticing food, vibrant music and the sleek-yet-lush design of the space intermix to evoke the dynamic energy of a 1930s speakeasy restaurant and lounge.
It all happens in the newly developed Heart of Koreatown, so you can indulge with friends in American inspired small plates, or just bliss out with a drink in hand – to the sultry beats spun by our resident DJs all year round.
Nice little restaurant near The Wiltern Theater with free parking. The metal chairs weren't that comfortable and our very small table rocked over uneven flooring. The food was pretty good. Our appetizers of pretzel w/ 3 different dips and roasted Brussels sprouts were great. However, it took 40 min. and we had to ask twice. The fried chicken was tasty, the waffle not so much. The music was way, way too loud--difficult to converse over the small table. We'll probably go back again on our next visit to The Wiltern.
Good enough place, nothing all that special. If you need a place in Koreatown, this will suffice.
This restaurant was everything. Adam is a great manager.
First time and it was “OK”. Our reservation wasn’t showing when my friend checked us in so I received a text about a waitlist and being 16th in line. I approached the hostess (who was super sweet). I asked her why were we added to a waitlist if we had a reservation. She apologized and sat us immediately.
Our server was very bland. He didn’t say much. Didn’t offer any suggestions. Just stood there. Even when my drink was gone he never checked to see if I wanted another one. When I asked questions he was just “yes” , “no”... Needless to say I’d never want him again...
The waffle was good as were the Brussels sprouts and the rosé sangria wasn’t as thrilling as it sounded. Overall I’d give it another try simply because the food was great, the hostess was so kind and very apologetic for the mix-up and thanked me for bringing it to her attention, and they have valet.
I’d like to try another drink AND another server.
I love HCafe. They never disappoint. The food was yummy, the Bloody Mary was yummy and it was a great scene. I learned to make a reservation and would recommend you do the same because they do get busy.
This is a hidden gem. Great food and great service. Definitely will be back again.
Great place, i would like to recommend you guys to go
The staff was very friendly and ambiance was so great. We stayed there for a long time and didn’t feel pressured to leave or uncomfortable.
We had dinner before a show at the Wiltern. Beet avocado salad was great!
We are here before seeing Ali Wong at the Wiltern Theater. This restaurant is adorable. The food is DELICIOUS!!! Mom had the pancakes which were the best ever. I had a salad and added fried chicken. Amazing. French fries were great. I ordered the Catalina drink and highly recommend it. Lily was our server and she was fabulous. I would return here in a heartbeat!!!
Fantastic food, fantastic staff! They were more than accommodating to our timing and needs. All of the food was great. I overate, but that's my fault.
I came to H for dinner after 2 visitis for lunch.
Not dissapointed at all. Recieved great service and wonderful food sugestions by the staff.
drinks were well priced and well preformed.
Food was amazing.
Food was great, service was good. Went on a hot day and they left the front door opened so it was hot where we were sitting.
We went to H Cafe as a part of dIneLA and they were so accommodating! We went early so there weren’t that many people there, and the food was fabulous!
The corn fritters were raw inside - the fried chicken was sub par on top of watery mashed potatoes.
The salmon tasted old, no freshness at all and was served upside down.
The banana pudding tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for days.
High prices, poor value.
Also, I watched the cook eating behind the line and taking selfies of himself with the food and even caught him sticking his finger into a container of sauce and then tasting it. It was disturbing.
I came all the way from the Westside to try this spot and was severely disappointed.
We went here for DineLA and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious and the service superb. This was a gem of a place and we will definitely return!
Very cute interior and loved the mimosa and Bloody Mary flights! Perfect for brunch.
Food was amazing
Trendy cafe situated beside the lobby of the H Hotel. Our party of 3 were seated inside overlooking the patio. There is great lighting from the large window while having your meal. Service was quick to take down and serve our orders. The classic breakfast sandwich was like a fancier version of a mc d’s breakfast sandwich. Brioche bun and pork sausage patty were a nice touch. One of us tried the eggs Benedict and the classic breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage patty. Their pressed 32 oz coffee was enough for 2 cups. If you need more hot water through it, it would be an additional pressed coffee. The highlight of the meal seemed to be the brick hash brown. It was very crispy and went well with ketchup. Really enjoyed the meal and experience. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a nice place to sit and eat with friends.
The service was great. The server who helped us was very friendly. This would be a place where I feel I can go more often.
H Cafe never disappoints!!! Such a cute place and very reasonable prices. The biscuits are not like a regular biscuit and are YUMMY!!! The Bloody Mary is also delicious. I made a reservation just to be safe because they can get busy with large groups but you can totally just go and will likely not have to wait.
Nice spot for a casual brunch!
Great place for meeting with friends
Amazing staff and service, good drinks, great music, and really fun ambiance!
H Café was a wonderful experience. The food was on point, the service was excellent and the ambiance was fun. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends and will be going back many times more. The mimosas flight and the Nutella French toast were dreamy and my friends food look delish.
What a find!
In the heart of Ktown attached to a Hotel this little treasure has a lot to offer. Great drinks and an sportsmen’s of small plates, salads burgers, sandwiches and heartier dishes. There is something for everyone. We were a party of 6 on our way to a show at the Wiltern, they were accommodated got us out with plenty of time to arrive at our next destination!
Parking is available in the Hotel lot, you have to get a ticket and put in your window. After 8:00pm valet parking is available.
Would absolutely go back!
Food took so long
Food was a bit slow to cook but tasted good and the place had a nice ambience! Prices were good too. I would recommend this place!
This place has good food, and the servers and clientele are attractive and hip. Its a bit busy for brunch but could use more people later in the day. I hope it gets them.
best dishes - grain bowl, biscuit, brussel sprouts (a bit too vinegary, though)
good dishes - salmon w/carrot puree (too small for price), salmon and cream cheese on bagel ( add some green to plate)
ok dish - onion rings, not sufficiently lucious
The vibe of this place was great, I've been here two times once for brunch which was one of the best brunches I've ever had and once late night at 2:20 for chicken and waffles which was on another level.
