Gunpowder is a home-style Indian kitchen. Our menu takes inspiration from family recipes, and the vibrant, confident flavours of home cooking.

We offer Pre Theatre and fixed feast menus for small and large groups. Our private dining rooms are available for hire through the week.

We take reservations for lunch and dinner online, for parties up to 4.

A section of our restaurant is kept back for walk ins.

For walk ins we operate on a “first come first serve” system, and once the restaurant is full, we operate a waiting list. Just pop by, leave us your details and we’ll text you when your table is ready.

In order to be fair, please note we only seat complete parties.

Very tasty food but very pricey! The lamb chops were delicious with the lamb cooked to perfection. Prawns didnt need to be butterflies as made them harder to eat. Overall amazing taste but you will feel it on your wallet!

A fantastic date night! The location is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Thank you very much for a great evening. I highly recommend the broccoli!

Non traditional Indian restaurant with limited menu (in a good way). Everything was terrific: service was pleasant, very attentive and friendly. Food and drinks came out quickly and every dish was wonderful. Beautiful room.
