Guilford Mooring, located on the shores of the Long Island Sound in Guilford, Connecticut, honors its waterfront location by offering classic preparation of timeless seafood dishes as well as land lovers favorite cuts of beef. The seasonal menu includes Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options, and a special $5 children’s menu honors young foodies. The restaurant is open year-round, seven days a week for lunch and dinner. We offer unparalleled views from an outdoor bar and patio, as well as the newly-renovated indoor bar/dining area, featuring a rustic stone fireplace for the New England winter months and air-conditioning for the heat of summer. The Mooring offers on premise catering for all types of private events including wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, showers, reunions and holiday parties.

Great food, service could be better, strange choice of loud music in the dining room made it feel like a bar instead of a nice dinner.

Food and service were excellent although I had the salmon and it was a little dry. Our seating was near the window area which would have been great during the day. However, it was cold outside and there was definitely a draft near the windows which made sitting there a little uncomfortable at times.

Love this place. Always consistent. The littlenecks are awesome. Definitely the spot in the summer but perfect all year round.

I got the cioppino and my wife got the veggie shrimp dish. Both were great. We got there super early )”(4:39) New Year’s Eve. Went with a table of 8. The service was awesome even though the waitress forgot the ketchup steak knife and a few other things. We all left happy. We would go back

Great food at a fair price. The ambience is very Coastal New England as it should be given it is on the coast of--duh!--New England. Have been there before and will go again. Loved it!
