Guard & Grace is thrilled to be putting a stake in Houston with its second outpost, and first outside of Denver. Debuting in Fall 2019, the 15,000-square-foot destination will serve as a new culinary anchor for downtown’s landmark Allen Center. In addition to award-winning cuisine and cocktails, striking interiors and warm Texas hospitality, guests will enjoy an array of private dining spaces for meetings, events and celebrations, plus a temperature-controlled wine cellar complete with wine lockers to squirel away your own “reserve” bottles.

there is a lots of Hype self issued for this place, It was a little better than a good meal. We had the Vietnamese Salad ok , a Special oyster Scallop dish that couldn't taste the scallops but it was very good, Chicken Fried Quail Different and very good but sauce overwhelmed the fow. the Ravioli and corn good , a 4 oz wagyu no taste but very tender, with pepercorn sauce with brandy almost no taste but smooth. service was good, With an excellent Wine list needed the SOMS help, recommended 1 1 was thinking and thiking spanish he had the last 2 of A tempranillo he wanted to move and discounted it, very good but really maybe a little high for the discounted price. Enjoyed the unique offerings, we will go back again but were in no rush

Everything about Guard and Grace is first class. The wine was delicious, the appetizer sushi was amazing and the steak was to die for. Our server Elijah was delightful and knowledgable. This is one of the best meals I have ever had in Houston.

My experience as an Australian dining at a Houston restaurant specialising in steak cuisine. Guard and Grace was an exceptional experience. I come from the beef capital of Australia and the beef served at this restaurant was of superb quality. The passionate preparation and mastery of authentic flavours enhancing the fillet was beyond clever. The sides and dessert were delicious. A very thoughtful offering of wines and other drinks topped off my experience. And then you have the service and overall ambience. I felt very comfortable in this restaurant being a diner on my own. Whether intentional or not, where I was seated made me feel very comfortable and not obvious to others. The passionate, professional table staff were always attentive, genuine and caring which made my last night in Houston even more memorable. Thank you Guard and Grace.

My experience was great. I would have enjoyed a little more sauce on the sprouts and my chicken a bit more brown, but overall and other than that- I had a great time and the food was divine. I will be back for sure.

We celebrated my husband birthday yesterday and it was his first time at the restaurant. Our waiter Travon was outstanding and gave us great recommendations throughout the whole meal. He even surprised my husband with a happy birthday dessert. We will be back soon and often and will request Travon again!

Lovely birthday celebration with gracious service. Trey our server had impeccable table side presence and manners. We started out with this massive tropical cocktail which was tangy goodness. My guy loved his filet mignon steak (cooked perfectly medium rare) and shrimp cocktail. My wedge salad was huge portion and the grilled shrimp paired well with the salad. The bangers potato side were spicy and complimented the steak well. The team at Guard and Grace kindly treated my guy to a toffee cake and and triple chocolate chip cookies to celebrate his birthday and the cookies were decadent. Highly recommend Trey and his team to celebrate milestones.

The Reservations I had at G&G had gone through beautifully. We were celebrating a local graduate from UH and our server made sure to make our graduate feel special. The service was amazing and top notch and the food…Wow just wow. I can’t recommend the Beef Tartar and the Dry aged Steaks anymore.
