My order was wrong. It took way too long to get it, and even then it wasn’t right. You really need to turn down the music. All that it’s doing is causing people to talk over it. Why can’t restaurant managers get that?!?!
We went to the Grove for Sunday Brunch and overall the food was disappointing this time round. The hollandaise sauce on my eggs benedict was overpoweringly rich and the spice sprinkled on the poached eggs was too strong and detracted from the flavor rather than enhancing it. The accompanying potatoes were somewhat hard and lacked flavor. My wife's smoked salmon omelette had almost no smoked salmon and was almost exclusively cream cheese and onions. I think the mimosas were overpriced at $8 per glass as well.
We had breakfast and it was good. Its hard to make too much of a fuss about breakfast so I don't have a lot to say other than the service was good and the food was as expected.
Restaurant busy but service was good as food came out quickly.
Service is good. Food is average. Calamari were good, the rest so-so. Pasta overcooked, and everything SO salty. We spent half of the night drinking water.
Overall, not terrible, but nothing to rave about.
Excellent food - flavorful. served hot with a good presentation. Ate outside under the canopy which is great for dining with friends in a relaxed and safe setting. Highly recommend.
The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive, but we did not feel rushed. We really got to enjoy the beautiful day outdoors and lunch with my friends.
Our first time eating here. Lunch was very well done. We had grilled salmon with asparagus and risotto with peas, and the seafood Cobb salad. Both were delicious, followed by key lime pie which we shared. Delilah was very nice and excellent with her service. Definitely a "place to return to" in our files.
I am sorry to have to give this review. This is the third and last time I will go to the Grove. I have never been happy with the food and this is not an inexpensive restaurant. Yesterday, the fish portion of my meal was not fresh. I wasn't thrilled about the salad either.
This is the 3rd lunch date I’ve had at the Grove since coming out of covid isolation. we’ve been very pleased with the service and food...excellent taste and presentation. The chicken vegetable and clam chowders are delicious, grouper sandwich very nicely done, crab parfait delicious (al beit pricey). We were celebrating a birthday, and the server brought a slice of ice cream cake (with candle) that was so delicious! After a rough 1st experience, when this restaurant 1 st opened (most of the items on the menu were not available), this is our new go to neighborhood favorite.
$ people All orderd different things All loved the food
Skirt steak needed more seasoning. I had to add salt. Otherwise the food was plentiful and tasty.
A little disappointed in the condition of the restroom. Needs more attention for such a nice restaurant.
We have eaten often at the restaurant but have never been told about the dining reward program. We found out tonight through another diner. A little disappointed we have not been a part of it until now.
Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant.
Overall we always enjoy eating here.
Perfectly fine, felt like an upscale diner
I made a reservation for 4 of us to get together for brunch on a Sunday, another friend was added, which was not a problem when we were seated at the original seating for 4. The problem was that we were ignored by the waitstaff for over 15 minutes, despite my asking another waiter to let someone know. After another 5 minutes, I went to the host and let her know. We were given a WONDERFUL server, who stepped in and did a great job. We were seated outside, and there were several empty tables near us, so it did not appear that any of the waitstaff was under pressure or had too many tables. I enjoy the Grove, and will return, but other than our particular server, I give them 2 stars for service; it was abundantly clear that we were being ignored.
Food was lackluster in portion size and options for a real brunch menu
We had a great dinner with great service. I highly recommend for all occasions.
Exceyservice and great food. Highly recommend the Pork Osso Bucco. It’s delicious!
Great restaurant.\, love the large patio seating during these crazy times. Even during a torrential downpour we were able to enjoy our meal on the covered patio. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Chose to have brunch here to celebrate getting our first vaccine shots. We go to Grove all the time and love it.
I can see why Grove is popular! I had a wonderful time with my family who came to visit. We enjoyed eating on the covered patio. The service was great, the prices were reasonable, and the drinks were fantastic! The food was very nice-- nothing super spectacular, but nothing bad either. I will definitely eat here again!
I always enjoy dining at Grove. They are so consistent.
Generally an okay visit to the Grove. We were seated promptly at an outdoor table that we requested. Restaurant was extremely busy, and loud. Service was generally solid except when trying to get the check and pay for the meal. Food was good and had great presentation, taste, etc. Outside area was a bit dirty with bits of trash & paper napkins on the floor and the table was not very clean when we sat down.
We had great food and great service, as always! We love the Grove!
Michael was our server and he did an outstanding job! The hostess (didn’t get her name) was outstanding as well!
Had great service from our server John, he made sure we were happy with our food and drinks.
The food was very good.
Easter dinner at the Grove left a lot to be desired. I frequent the Grove and while tonight was not indicative of past experiences, my experience tonight will keep me away. Took an hour to get food and it was not even cooked properly. When brought to the attention of the manager they were dismissive. Other staff proceeded to walk near our table to mock our party because we were dissatisfied. The level of service from server to manager was inexcusable and unprofessional. I imagine staffing on a holiday is hard and that clearly showed tonight with the “B” team working.
Easter dinner with close friends. Michael was a great server.
My rack of lamb was good. My wife had chicken & the breast was dry & tasteless.
What was served as chocolate cream pie was NOT!
Our waitress was so sweet and polite. Very attentive.
Great location in Lakewood Ranch and perfect indoor and outdoor environment available. Very good range of food selections.
Easter Brunch was not worth the money. Very little seafood in the Egg Benedict and the Seafood Omlet.
We had a phenomenal time. Food and drinks were excellent as well as our server.
We were there for Easter. We ordered the lobster Benedict and it literally had a piece of lobster on it the side of a quarter. I ordered the scallop Benedict for $32. It came with three small scallops and side of rice and broccolini. The rice and broccoli had no flavor whatsoever. So I ate three small scallops for $32.
After ordering a bottle wine (over $100), we had to ask for a decanter, and we poured every glass ourselves. Colin is not what I would call attentive. I would also ask the management team what possible purpose music provides, when all people do is raise their voices to talk over it. This has never made sense to me. It’s one thing to have some fairly quiet background music. It’s another thing to have pop rock. I dine quite regularly at your place, because I love the menu, the quality of food, and the service. Sunday was quite an exception.
Great environment and the food was fantastic. We had a great Easter brunch.
I usually love eating at the Grove, but their Easter brunch was not as good as usual. Unfortunately, no one in my family loved their entrees. The seafood omelette lacked flavor, the lobster benedict had overcooked eggs, and the fries with a kids meal chicken tenders were limp and soggy. We did really enjoy our beignets appetizer and cheesecake and creme brulee desserts. Additionally, our server was fantastic! Just wish the food was cooked a bit better that day.
The food was delicious and there was a nice selection for brunch and the main menu.
